Seeing the same thing also - seems to affect the Top10 pages and Node Details more than other pages such as maps/APM/NTA. Definately came in since SP4 - maybe some timeout was set too low somewhere... Its very random - sometimes pages refresh and give this message every few hours sometimes they work fine for the days...

Most common causes of this type of thing I've seen is duplex mismatch or bad cables. Check that your port speeds match on both sides - eg 10/half or 100/full (assuming this is ethernet) - don't use Auto as this can be problematic on some devices - much better to fix the speed when it comes to router and switch connections.…
