Hi millenium7 You have 127 nodes right You can split the backup jobs by machine type?vendor? Instead of 1 backup job run job per machine type/vendors ... and if you know that vendor x is not critical type you can configure the backup job not to send mails about failure...

Hi Those are syslog or traps event "PING_TEST_FAILED: pingCtlOwnerIndex = R2, pingCtlTestName = tunnel" ? To view that in the web console you probebly need to send syslog/trap from your juniper device to Solarwinds to alert on that event you can try that Alertapalooza: Syslogs, Traps, and Advanced Alerting - SolarWinds Lab…

-
mmmm.. what about other devices? The same issue? I Can see that you use root as login username... that mean local no radius user ,you need to type cli to get to the junos OS that could be the problem?

Hi ohh You can keep it in 1 big backup job.. In every backup job you will have some elements that will have some problems.. That why it make sense to have more backup jobs that send mail about problem to the right group ...
-
Sorry I was not very clear Job type is “export config” But I Think just backup and save to file will do. You should se that if you have NCM 7.7/8 save to file and you can change the path ESave Results To FileNTER NOTIFICATION DETAILS

-
Hi Jokerfest The Kiwisyslog and the AWS are the the tools to keep your instance healthy. The polling engine will do the polling the AWS will off load the web display and if you have too much syslog and traps so kiwi is just great with forwarding the important stuff to NPM. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SdUJ47f463w…
