So... Without going into too much detail, I work for a branch of the NHS that has converged services from a large area of the UK (let's say 12,500 square miles), and the entire purpose is to do pretty much this - handle all the big IT stuff and do it in such a way that it delivers something that the local health boards…

The problem with the datacentre in Arendelle is that you can't restore any of your data, since it's Frozen.
-
Hmm. Should you be putting this up publicly while the challenge is ongoing? Hate to be a Donald Downer.

It's not politically sound to challenge the guys who make all the money. If we stopped using petrol/gas, carbon emissions would drop down significantly. Oil companies might have a say about it though, and their lobbies have a deep pocket. (I'm ignoring the issue of creating alternative energy here, but this sort of goes…

Me too I'm afraid. Seemed like very specific wording and then to have *used as other metrics and Peak CPU used not being listed... Overthought it perhaps

A little bit disappointed the radio button didn't get rolled into adding another option for different combinations of the A/B/C options (being vague to avoid spoilers) Thanks for fixing it all! Say... you guys don't need proof readers do you? I know a lowly admin who might volunteer

I didn't think anyone would bite on my 2025 comment (I spent at least 30 seconds searching for the next week fitting that criterion) but thanks for fixing it!

My first experience of a computer for me was aged 6 or so, circa 1995, being at my dad's work while he worked late (in a school) and he put me in front of what I can only remember as being a Power Macintosh 4400. I sat in this darkening room playing a game with such colours, such intensity, such fun! [It was a lander style…

Oh, colloquially and in the context of the question I'm sure nobody would get the wrong answer for it, however to extrapolate that "the average length of time [it takes for a business to identify a data breach]" is represented by studying such a small and biased population. For example, the study 'recruited' 419 companies…

I saw it, Googled Arendelle and extrapolated that it wasn't necessarily a serious answer... Couldn't think of anything similar that's been in popular culture recently. Although, Wakanda hides its huge technological superiority from the world with a guise of backwardsness... Maybe Wakenda has the same deal? (no offense…

Out of curiosity, has anyone tried creating a folder junction between the drives? Seems like a bad workaround, but if it works...

Think I was the first commenter on the Q6 issue (perk of being the first into the office on a Monday morning, UK time) and this was pretty much my question too - if I got it wrong, and I can't see how I got it wrong, I want to know what it was so I can fix it for future purposes
-
So, I got Q6 wrong by ticking hardware - I can't see anything about hardware requirements in the hint, and I can't see what US law/precedent was quoted when I got it wrong "All of these things are required by X" so could anyone point me towards this information? Future reference and all that
-
Me too But I've been the benefactor of 2 resets this month, I read through the hint link and after reading it all several times decided it could be taken to mean anything you wanted, so I ticked stuff and expected a red cross - and got it! Ah well I only really want the ST communicator anyway...
-
I actually got my job because of a friend who worked for a MSP "recycling" a server or two my way, and that's how I got *so* into things that I largely stopped playing games... Echoing a couple of trains of thought previously mentioned, but this is a wider question than first glance. I heard from somebody, somewhere, that…
-
I did not meet the exacting standards of Q20 either

As someone with chronic hypertension that gets exacerbated by work stress (amongst other things), it may not be in your best interests to effectively skew your results... Nothing wrong with the doctors knowing what's representative.

All done

Thanks! It'd be a terrible thing if "somebody" just kept sending in screenshots because they weren't bright enough to know to stop
-
It's actually not, "once per minute" is a frequency. The question asks for the default interval.

A great idea, and some really interesting, thought provoking pieces. Thanks to all writers and contributors for their time and input.

To be fair to them, it's one of those things where once you get the hang of it you'll be fine. To be fair to you, different parts of the whole system have been upgraded at different rates, so some of the code is older and hasn't been revamped in a while. And as pointed out previously, it should be easier to set up and find…

I've spent too many hours consulting The Oracle trying to find this answer! As it happens, it didn't fix my current issue, it just brought up a different one... But another project has benefitted from this greatly, so I'm a happy Pandaren. Thanks!
-
Mine changed overnight, so it's probably close
-
Alright, had a chance to look through the logs - it doesn't appear to be this, there's none of the RPC_E_CALL_CANCELED messages in there. However, I have found a few nodes polling on the wrong credentials, so it was worth a look in anyway. Thanks for the suggestion!
-
Yes we do have SAM, and thank you, I'll check it out now!
-
Unbelievable. I looked at this and thought you were off your rocker for bit!... Spent half an hour combing through VMAN and the various manuals... No, that really is it. I'm sorry I doubted you.

How long til it hits the trial? Dying to give it a go! Good job team Dev.

Came here looking for answers on how to get pre- and post-update powershell scripts to run. I wish I'd found this thread on Saturday morning, would have saved me 2 days of making it just about work before having to completely eliminate this as an option. (Also seriously, why is the first line in the configuration guide to…
