Is there a registration somewhere or have I missed something? As we get closer the 3AM start seems more and more daunting. I will see how I go tonight.

The hint page doesn't specifically state the answer word for word but it's there.

One of the biggest issues I've come across is the "build and forget" deployments. The customer has purchased SolarWinds years ago, gets the system up and running, loads up all their devices, configures alerting, etc.... and then nothing. New devices added, old devices removed, IP addresses updated, etc. but no-one updates…

I always look forward to my sessions with the UX team - not only do I get to provide feedback on potential changes coming in the future but I can show them my pain points and issues that I have in my day-to-day use of the products. This leads to better products to make my life easier.

Hooray for some international love. Hopefully Australia isn't too far behind.

Survey says.... correct! It still shows "Processing..." at the bottom of the page but a "Validating..." object appears next to the Test button. If your SNMP credentials fail, and you hit test again. The previous Test Failed status will be displayed but you can now tell that the new credentials are being tested without…

As per the others above, thanks for sharing!

I'm fearful of the day some clients will lose some of their older servers. They are running legacy systems on legacy hardware and each time I raise it as a risk, it gets put on the back burner.

I thought The Big Short movie was very interesting. Seeing similar aspects of that now in Australia.

Thanks Danielle. I'll check back in the morning.

June 9th 12pm CDT is June 10th 3am AEST. Hopefully I can wake up for it! Also, who was the lucky person that got to clean up that mess?!?

This depends on the customer requirements. One client just wanted to know if a particular website was accessible so they only wanted a simple SAM monitor. Another client needed WPM for transactions to trace steps like logging into websites, running queries, and then logging out.

Also adding on to this, I'd like the text above the number/unit to be optional as well. If I call my widget "Down Nodes", I don't necessarily need to have the word "Node" above the number.

It was worth a shot.

Alternatively, an actual filter for volumes similar to the filter on the Interfaces step of the import process.

Hi Jiri, I'm getting the following error in Chrome/Firefox. My portal account definitely has SRM with active maintenance under the default SWID and also under other SWIDs linked to the same account. "JSONObject["refresh_token"] not found."

Nice work! I'm waiting for the upgrade to finish running at the moment. I'm pretty sure that I've already signed up as I've had a few emails from the UX team.
-
Although unfortunate, I prefer to look at it as not stressing if I don't get to thwack each day and can answer the questions in bulk when I get time to browse. It doesn't matter if I'm not entered for the daily draw if I can't win.

We can operate unconnected short term with offline files, etc but if required we have remote access with SSL VPN. Remote access is typically only required for the engineers and it is rare for the admin staff. If I have an internet connection I have access to my email (or just access it via my phone) and can VPN in to…

For everyone asking if you've submitted an answer, why not print the picture and fill in the letters as you go? Easiest way to track what you've done.

We don't really have this problem over here because we have a lot of ISP choice - there are not a lot of places left with a monopoly/duopoly. If an ISP decided to throttle Netflix and demand an extra $10 to unthrottle it, we could easily change ISPs - where I currently live, I can choose from 10+ ISPs. With the state of…

Sorry to hear of this news. My condolences to friends and family.

I understood the intent of the question but the wording could have been better, e.g. 'currently use and plan to', not 'plan to use and plan to upgrade'.
-
Australia! I know we hound you guys and it's purely out of jealously from seeing everyone else win these awesome prizes.
-
I did them all in the first few days. Occasionally pop back into the thread to see what (if any) discussion is happening.

Congrats blsanner!

I think we all know where this is going though if this bracket was anything to go by.
-
No worries, I wouldn't be able to attend the webcast as it is at 3AM local but thought I'd get the question out of the way for others in more friendly timezones. Can't wait to see what you've got in line for December!

@"Jfrazier" - that is why I dislike questions regarding "current stats" on the demo website. It changes based on the day/time and what might be right now is wrong tomorrow or next week or even a few hours. Luckily I answered it OK last night. I was tempted to post a screenshot of the page as some people do sometimes but…

Looking at the columns in your screenshot it looks like you're importing group custom property values, so presumably the recommended process by SolarWinds only supports importing for nodes? Edit: Just tested in my lab and same thing occurs - the option is only available if you choose to import node custom properties,
