hmmm...21 years away...I'll be retired then, so as long as it doesn't affect my pension...AND you young'ins keep working to pay for it....
-
testing? what's that? don't backups and restores just work with no monitoring??
-
^ I agree!
-
TOASTY>>>

i agree that culture is a huge part of it...however, when developers keep churning out flaw after flaw...
-
just upgraded and i think it's great!
-
it is better to have an external auditor find the flaws vs a hacker...and I am looking forward to it...
-
so what happens when your internet goes down?

Thanks for keeping our Thwack alive. I couldn't imagine my IT life without Solarwinds and Thwack...both for the technical enhancements for managing my network, the tidbits of helpful hints from the Thwack community, and, of course, all the fun, nonsensical quotes and bits of information from our personal lives and careers.…

Hmmm, I only received 5 points per vote...I thought it said you get 50 points per vote... wabbott ?

who needs a hot fix... maybe a coffee fix?
-
Hmmm...rschroeder, i noticed all those recommendations are sold by Solarwinds...how convenient! :-) Not that I disagree.

LoL... funny, we just (like an hour ago) had someone call service centre - "I can access my email, but nothing else". We had moved some cubicles, and I had our vendor come in to re-test our cables to ensure they meet the specs as per Belden certification. They had plugged one cable back into itself, creating a loop.

Netpath?

I'm not sold on public cloud offerings yet...I have too much sensitive data...

-
network performance is one thing...how do you monitor the application performance from 200+ users, each with a different way of using the application?
-
And remember...the solution to an issue could be simple in our eyes, however, to someone with no experience, it may take triple the amount of time to troubleshoot, or even longer. Patience is the key.

I still think BYOD is more for small businesses. I can't take the chance that a personal device is clean and won't leak sensitive data...and so far, no one i've spoken with wants their personal device on my MDM solution...
-
I wish I was going...it'd be so nice to live in the states.
-
still one of my favourites!
-
it's interesting. and most interesting, I only have 2 bots...one that tells me how to get somewhere (gps) and another that tells me it's time to answer emails...
-
i know this isn't the forum for this question, but does anyone know what happened to the Thwack Store?
-
hmmm, does the Borg age??? I can't remember?
