Well yes, thats what I am asking! If I have two interfaces on an NPM server with the following IPS: * 10.1.1.1/24 * 11.1.1.1/24 and I have the poller bound to 11.1.1.1. When i pol 10.1.1.2 I need the source IP address of the SNMP or WMI poller to be 11.1.1.1.

Syslog is listening only so not really a concern. I just mentioned it to b thorough and describe our environment. We only have a single poller and resides on the NPM server with IIS

VMware tag gathering and ability to filter reports/alerts based on same has been really needed for a long time! Be great to see this in the next release!

Looked through the DB but I'm not DB expert and couldn't find anything concrete. Hubble shows an API call to thi URI: * /api/MacroVariablePicker/GetAvailableMacroVariables? which seems to be a call to a business layer API CoreBusinessLayer/GetMacroPickerDefinition

Very nice! I came back to NPM after doing some work with in 5 years ago and see somethings have improved in the platform. As my alerts are all received internally I link to external stylesheets which gives me really good flexibility. 

No migration of old flow data already in the fastbit storage? Come on!

But my must the vmware dvSwitch IP address respond to SNMP? The NetFlow standard does not require such and the only reason I can see that SolarWinds uses SNMP in this regard is to query the switch for the bandwidth of the interface. Since this is a vmware switch its bandwidth is not really a consideration. At least add…

I have the same issue and I think it s a bit of a joke to be honest. How can Solarwinds say they support VMware switches if we have to add thousands of interface manually? Silly stuff. Why not change the product to allow us to specify the switch IP address is that of a VDS and simply auto add interfaces as they are…
