This is possible with VMAN on Orion. With 8.0, it's no longer necessary to use the appliance.

Are you really just wanting to see more integrated active alert information? what screens or places are you looking for this and what are you trying to solve while doing so?

As of VMAN 8.x, the dependency on the appliance has been severed. VMAN is fully integrated into Orion.
