Wow! That's makes me weep a bit.

Upgrading Orion is a little bit of a house of cards, and apparently Windows Server 2012 R2 is no longer supported, so I guess we'll be planning a migration to 2016.…

either NPM 12.2 HF2 or Orion Platform HF2 would contain the fix!

It's important that your additional polling engine is in sync with the latest not just for SRM but for all released hotfixes. Please run the hotfix bundle that is provided in customer portal on your main poller and run the new 1.3.484 versioned installer (the one that Kacper listed) on any additional polling engines. This…

Heads up, we haven't finished the repack of the offlines, so HF3 is only available via online installers right now.

dfairles I'm happy you're throwing down the gauntlet on the usability and out of box experience of the SW suite. You know why? Because we're definitely picking that gauntlet up. I think if you look at what's been happening with the releases starting with NPM 12 and continuing through to the latest release this year with…

It looks like IPAM 4.6 HF2 is published today. I look forward to seeing your feedback.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Are you only wanting to move charts or other resources/widgets as well?

David, this looks like a customer who has a different profile than the one you sent me the upgrade plan for. I'm glad that you were able to have this successful upgrade, was the other upgrade also successful?

While I can understand that your first thought might be to share the same database with each of these servers, to either save time or resource, that will not work and will cause many issues for you. The architecture of our software is designed with one database per Orion server, and by trying to share the database with…

Ideally you'll always be running the latest version of the installer. The only situations where you might not be is if you're using the offline installer for hotfixes or for product. Then you might have a download that occurred before we repacked with a new version.
