After I recreated the firewall service monitors using Performance Counter Monitors (like the old template) instead of WMI (like what is mentioned on thwack.) Yes it is working now. Yes. I did manage to get it working by recreating the monitors for the firewall services, like they were originally, which uses performance counters instead of WMI. Not sure why it was any different. I will figure that out when Microsoft does the TMG health check next week. Thanks, Scott Hill From: aLTeReGo…

I upgraded TMG to Rollup 3. On half the TMG servers now the firewall service monitors get this message "Invalid WMI query. No results were returned by WQL query." Unable to find any differences between the servers. Any ideas.

Apparently, IPAM for me still isn't working correctly, the ques are stuck scanning again. Didn't say working very long at all. Making a ticket to see what can be done.
-
All the monitors are working except the six Firewall Service Monitors. In the details it shows "Unexpected error occurred. Invalid class". Any ideas? OK, I had to go back and make sure that the monitors were set to x64. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the help. I guess Petr's edit didn't make it to my email, so I had to come here to see what exactly you were talking about. Will post in a bit if it works for me. Thanks.

I'm working with a similar issue, can you share your powershell script?
-
I had this issue again just yesterday. Followed all the steps above and it appears to be working. Just curious if there is an actual fix that resolves this issue. A reinstall every time it has an issue is not a realistic option.
-
I had this issue as well. On a 2008R2 server, you have to look in C:\Programdata, which is a hidden folder.
-
Thanks, again. I think that will get it done.
-
Ok, I, blind. Found it. Thanks.

Thanks, unfortunately though, I don't know SQL and the SQL person isn't up to speed yet with recent changes in duties. Thanks for the reply. We have a TMG health check coming soon. Will get this taken care of in there somewhere. Do you have automatic thresholds in place? It is possible that the threshold is way too low causing the alert to trigger.

Is there a way to clear the scan jobs that are qued?
-
False alarm, apparently there was a network issue at the time I wasn't aware. Thanks.
-
OK. hmm. All the old ones work, but not able to create any new ones. At least where it puts it in the drop down list. I will still show up as a new value listed below that line if you edit a node. We don't add them that often so hadn't noticed until now. I'd rather not have to go back to every node and change it to a new…

After clicking the Edit button nothing happened. No errors came up. I have not tried clearing the browser cache I will do that and let you know. Using IE 9. I will check with some one on the other things you mentioned. Scott Hill Information Technology Office of State Courts Administrator 1-888-541-4894…

Thanks for the reply. What adjustments can you make so that it only checks Windows servers, not every node on the network?
-
We do have, I will dig in and see what's up. Thanks,

Our IPAM quit scanning again. It seems to happen during our windows updates, and I'm guessing all the reboots and such confuse the hell out of it. Is there a way to put IPAM in a maintenance mode to pause scanning during updates. Wondering if the Solarwinds Servers should be set to manually reboot from updates? Then once…

Date and time are correct.

Thanks for the replies. Not changing the IP, just a name change on the same server. I give it a go with the license manager. Thanks,
-
Was curious it was working fine. Of course. Only started a week ago. And only on that one alert.
-
Just opening the tab. Pretty sure the evaluation period has expired, is the cause.

Thanks.
