These are the OIDs we use for our Pulse Secure devices - Setup them in UnDP - You can create alerts and reports from these. OID Name Description .1.3.6.1.4.1.12532.1 PULSE_logFullPercent Percentage of log file full .1.3.6.1.4.1.12532.2 PULSE_signedInWebUsers Number of Signed-In Web Users .1.3.6.1.4.1.12532.3…

Use the Universal Device Poller (UnDP) for Silver Peak thwack.solarwinds.com/.../496 It has the oids for alarms -
-
After you have added the UnDP poller to the device you can then see the results in PerfStack Add your node to the project Select the Node, in the next column over on the screen you should see the UnDP Group of the assigned OIDs (in this case mine are named SSL VPN) Then it is a simple drag and drop of the poller. Remember…

yes - we are "load balancing" across 10 APE Have a look at this Along the river of data, there are streams and flows. (Packet Streams and Data Flows)

Thanks You for your help in understanding this better.
-
Thank You this is perfect information. Why can I never find this stuff?
-
Thanks for the reply - I'll look into Dependencies. But from how I understand them to work there can only be one "parent". My issue comes up when both A and B go down. There was a back-hoe that hit the access point to the building, A service vault is flooded etc. If the primary device fails the secondary takes and an alert…

From what I have been able to glen about this connector, if you have NCM you do not need to install the connector on each APE. I have 1 Primary and 10 APEs. I run the connector from a server not part of the Orion environment. I am able to transfer the information from that one server.
-
Did you ever get this sorted ? I am having the same type of issue
-
Again Thanks for this - Huge Help - Just pushed out to all my web servers and it worked. Just what I have been looking for. Server: ORIONAWS4 Orion Platform, VNQM, NCM, NPM, LA, NTA HF1, UDT: 2020.2.1 1999-2020 SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. All Rights Reserved. Well Done!

Please see the maps below this is the level of detail that we need. Currently there are in excess of 250 maps and dashboards with my environment. This is a network infrastructure environment at this time but as with any monitoring I am sure that it will expand into other areas. Layout in very important the ability to…

Your NCM Server would your the server where you installed NCM. This would be your primary polling server if you have APEs.
-
Something to keep in mind. Never thought to look at wincap
-
Thanks - been using that for years I am looking for away to "layout" the pdf, I want to insert a page break in pdf as apposed to the PDF writer (or whatever is used) putting the breaks where it feels is good. "I want the power"
-
Thanks I'll spend some time with this at the weekend.

Thanks - smttysmth02gt But that link is now 10 years old. From that link there is not very much that "rediscover" seems to do; The rediscovery interval has a few roles: 1. Remap interfaces. Some devices will change the interface index and in order to properly track this change we check to see if the interface we have…

This may be a totally off the mark statement but I would have thought that with 100% packet loss that the response time should have gone to 0 (zero) or shown a gap. If someone was to look at this image it does not make sense. I think is a poor representation of what is happening in the environment.
-
So unless I need a server to be a NetPath source there is no real use of the agent when in an NPM only environment?
-
I do not know of this - I must have totally missed this type of alerting - Would you point me in the right direction to find find more information?
-
Thanks - You would think that this would be possible. Looks like may be another module will be needed.
-
This sounds possible - But of course I do not Have SAM - The new platform is a Network device. My Orion environment consists of NPM, NCM, NTA, VNQM and UDT. And I was informed that two other such platforms are coming into the environment. I see some major research in my future. Looking at these platforms as server/service…

Thank You that is kind of what I thought. But it seems that the sysname is being shown as a FQDN, and not just the sysname. Thanks Again!
-
This is how we have our SilverPeaks configed for flow For our environment the flow "comes from" the sp_lan interface. Make sure you are monitoring that interface.
-
Thank You - I was hoping that it was not true.

Thank You - I was hoping that it was not true.

That was what I was afraid of. Thank You
-
Thanks I understand that - I do not want to be about it all. i.e. Disable NBAR2 notification
-
Posted, sorry for taking so long. This is the message from the "bell" on the menu bar. We are currently not using NBAR2 and I do not want to be kept being told that I have NBAR2 devices. That is what I want to disable. I know about using the "x" to dismiss the message but it told the same thing everyday. It is more…

Sorry about the very slow response - Thank you for the time
