any word on when that release will be? thanks

It will be nice to know where Solarwinds stands with this problem. I open a ticket for this and was told it was a bug and Solarwinds was working on a patch. IMO it makes the product worthless if it can't be counted on. Works great when is running, but the random crashes suck. Anyone know where this stands? My Case number…

hmm looking at the log, it looks like I am not getting a response for this: 2008-02-05 08:50:30,769 [Scheduler] DEBUG SolarWinds.Common.Snmp.Agent - SNMP Request - 10.136.26.2 - Get: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1.2.1.1.9.1 = (OID_TYPE_NULL) where the other routers that work do respond to that, even though I have the same IOS.

Cool. thanks. So by default it does not truncate the DNS tables on a DB maintenance? If we truncate them manually, would the data rebuilt itself eventually (won't break any functionality)?
-
THANKS!!! Just noticed that. I can't believe they didn't release something.
-
Hmm they seem to be really puzzled by this request. All I am asking for is 8.1, but my license shows 8.5 I guess. They are talking a lot but not saying anything. NM is all good. thanks

Ok I see. Thanks
-
yeah when I browse for the mibs they aren't there. Is this "Tell us your unknown devices" a current thread on a forum?
-
Mark, Not sure what to remove. Attached is a screenshot of what I have. Thanks
-
great. I imagine that it will break the other devices login also?
-
Mark, I don't see this as an option when configuring alerts for syslog action from the syslog viewer. Syslog Viewer > Alerts/Filter Rules > Alerts/Filter Rules tab > Add new rule > Alert Actions tab > Add new action . BTW, can I pass a Orion variable to a script or a GET request action?

NG, Thanks for the reply. I did not upgrade to 8.1 though and the clear events checkbox is still checked. I wouldn't mind going through the process again, but I got it off a post on the old site that I cannot find since the move. Would you happen to have the link, I believe that you were on the thread. TIA

thanks. I know you can check the probe on the router itself and I have before, the MOS score just seems to be very incosistent, sometimes it returns zero and then it comes back with a normal value, as it is right now. I will check the log as suggested.

Anyone?
