Our company started when an LLC bought a demographic location from ISP provider. Which made my team and I have to start everything from scratch from monitoring our systems to billing systems setting up a new phone system for call center, setting up Domain as well as policies, new firewall and security, email and chat…

I am a little late but We wipe our old computers , cable boxes, switches, etc. and a company comes and picks up them to recycle them. If we still think the computers could be put to good use we sell them to employees after they have been cleaned and wiped.

Config hasn't changed for me since it was setup either.
