Hi Kish, I haven't found a way how to do it with single alert. I think the simpliest is to specify separate alert for each UnDP with condition pointing to whole poller name "currentSLMresponseServer1". Can you attach screenshot of the Edit alert dialog - Trigger condition tab with your current alert? Roman

Hi, I have tried to use nonsense OID like 1.50.50.50.50 and I was able to create that poller and assign it to node. Can you check that there is not comma instead of dot, or dot on the end? Can you describe your NPM version and OID that you try to add? - Also screenshot of the "Define Your Universal Device Poller" screen…

bleearg13, In your case it propably didn't worked because of "Value is equal to FAULTY". UnDP normally return 1 or 6(number). - You can verify what device return in UnDP application: - To fix it use condition "Value is equal to 6". - Other option is to edit UnDP and in Advanced Options select Format - Enumeration. Click…

Hi, each feature is differently demanding on polling. For example to poll CPU and Memory you can poll just about 3 OIDs on device. - Polling hardware health require to poll about 25 OIDs for one sensors. If there is 10 sensors it jumps quite high in comparison with CPU and memory, which is the same for whole device.…

(In…

Hi, do I understeand it correctly that you have created only one UnDP for whole panSession? I would suggest to create more UnDPs. - One for panSessionUtilization (1.3.6.1.4.1.25461.2.1.2.3.1) - Another for panSessionMax. - And so on... (Make sure that you have Yse for "Keep Historical Data", so you can use these UnDPs for…

Hi, can you please provide us the PollingMethod for this node from APM_HardwareInfo table? You can use SQL query like: SELECT * FROM APM_HardwareInfo where NodeID = 123 - Instead of 123 type NodeID for this particular node. Roman

Hello, we have cooperated with ttl and found the cause of the issue. In UnDP application we count with two basic poller types: - Tabular UnDP - which returns multiple OIDs in table. Values are in rows indexed by RowID. - Scalar UnDP - which retuns single value. There is no RowID. On the web are shown only values for Scalar…

Hi, in reports you can use Group By section: - On selecting columns dialog locate section "Group results by:" - Select "Caption - Node" You can add also column Unique Name, to add poller names. In the result it would look like NodeA - UDPType AP79xx - UDPVersion v3.3.3 NodeB - UDPType AP79xx - UDPVersion v3.3.3 It's not…

Hi, you can create Universal device poller(use application in Start menu) that get the information from the device. - To do that you need to know the OID(like address) of the data, where device makes it available. OID looks like "1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5", this particular provide information about System name (hostname). - You will…

Hi, if you would like to poll data via OID you can create Universal device poller that get the information from the device. - You will need to contact device vendor or search to get the exact OIDs. You may also look in "Browse MIB Tree". - Assign it to node, from which you want to get the data. - To display it on the web…

Hi, it is not possible to apply transform only to part of polled table. If you would like to transform only these 3 rows you may create poller for the specific table row OID. Then create transform poller for this poller. It is also not possible to add string text like V or A in transformed poller. Roman

Hi, you can use OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3 (sysUpTime), that retun value which UnDP can format into value like 15. 18:17:12.420000 (days. hours:minutes:seconds.miliseconds) Or you can create transformed poller to divide timeticks by 86400 (60*60*24) which will give you result in days - but only in days. Roman

Hi, the issue with current alert is that it is evaluated separatelly for each router. Each of them has probably number less than 6000, so the alert is triggered. I would recommend to create 3 separate UnDPs pollers for this OID for each router. Assign each of them only to single router. (For example…

Hello Dave, this will be most probably because that RowIDs are not sorted in the table. - When we poll rows from table there is check that next OID has to be bigger than previous, otherwise poller could get into cycle. To confirm this check log files with names like "NPM.Collector.Jobs_[NNNN].log" in…

Hi, we have similar behavior already reported and tracked. - It happens on "Node Tabular Universal Device Poller" resource. If you have selected polled value(like 16777220) as Label for UnDP the situation may happen. It will be fixed in next major release. Roman

Hi, you can create custom poller to poll particular row in table. First you need to make sure that OID is supported by device. Sometimes the device support SNMP, but you need to upload the MIB to device or update it. - Check with Test button if table OID is supported and there is reply with rows and values. - If for…

Hi, it is not possible filter pollers on this resource, but you can put table pollers into group - so they will be separated. - I would also recommend to unify naming of table pollers like "table_ifSpeed" - Open Universal Device Poller application. - In low left section(all defined pollers) right click on table poller -…

Hi, I have checked in Wireshark... The Test button in Browse MIBs perform always Get Next. - That would explain why you get Not supported message by Test(Get Next) and it is polling(Get). Roman
