I completely agree with @"Seashore". The idea of Alert Central was great, but it just didn't do enough. We still have alerts going to a mailbox called Alert Central, despite de-installing it some while ago. We've been running our distribution rules on that mailbox for ages

Wonderful (& quite nostalgic) you must be almost as old as me button punching to get the initial bootstrap loaded so that the system would then load the OS. I know knew the button pushes to bring up both a Varian (from paper tape) & a Univac 1100/80 (from disk) by heart. All pretty sad by today's expectations, but…

It got to re-read Q5 & it's so obvious now. I'd misread one word. Bah. It made me read a heap of docs trying to answer the wrong question, but then - that's exactly the point Oh well. Here's to tomorrow.

It's always so difficult to put a cash value on a product or audit, but fees rising because of a score drop is a great milestone.

I saw a pool sign recently directing you to the "Chainging rooms" Little things, but it made me laugh. Then again, perhaps there really was a room dedicated to chains.

Whoooo - I've been digging snow all weekend so that I could drive on Monday and I forgot to re-visit Q5. I re-read the question & its answers this afternoon & all of a sudden it became so obvious. I must have been over-tired on Friday

Happy 15th birthday Thwack. Does that make Thwack the longest running community site or is it just the best?

I guess most of us are in the Nothern hemisphere and as such, it's winter. Cold, wet, we've got a red weather warning this evening. Now even the weather has now got yellows and reds, and even non-tech folk understand that red is bad. But to cheer us up, there's always ThwackCamp to look forward to and cheer us up/ Keep…
