See below for a graph showing the statistics within the component. The key ones for me for this are Discovery (green) and Offer (cyan). There was an issue from midnight until just after 9am and you will see that the two lines are way different. After this time until about 3pm when another issue occurred, they follow each…

Hi, I have issues where a device requires ecdsa-sha2-mistp256/384/521 host key algorithms. Is there a file I can edit to choose what NCM (Weonlydo) uses ? I looked at the Weonlydo website and it looks to be configurable. Thanks

I agree this would be really helpful and could just be a tickbox in the Custom SWQL query widget. I would think it will need a feature request.
-
Feature request added, please upvote if you will find useful. https://thwack.solarwinds.com/product-forums/the-orion-platform/i/feature-requests/add-ability-to-change-node-details-poller-from-the-sdk-powershell Thanks
-
Thanks, I'll submit a feature request :-)
-
Thanks for the detailed reply. The node details poller can be bulk added as per your last image, however I am putting together a script that would run every evening to check that the correct pollers have been added to our Nodes (Alcatel in this case). If anyone then adds a new Alcatel node, the script will run that evening…

Thanks, I have the following code now as part of a loop to go through all my devices of a particular type, although not sure what the uri for the Orion.DeviceStudio.PollerAssignment table would be as I cannot see a URI in the table. $Query = "SELECT ID, PollerID, NetObjectType, NetObjectID, Enabled FROM…

Great, looks like there is a reference in there for nodes. How would I edit the row rather than create a new row in the table with new-swisobject? (I am using powershell)
-
Hi, I can't see it in Orion.DiscoveredPollers, but do see the node detail poller ref in Orion.DeviceStudio.Pollers. How would I reference the PollerID from the devicestudio.pollers table to a node?
-
It looks that way, very disappointing of Cisco to not allow this. I guess this will apply to Cisco Pix and ASA range
-
Jiri I've run the snmp walk and there are no routing entries in it. I've found Using SNMP with the Security Appliances PIX/ASA - Cisco Systems which states 'The PIX does not support enough of RFC 1213 to return a routing table to a network management station, and for security reasons, this is not a good idea anyhow' Richard
-
That worked a treat, thanks very much.
-
Hi I also have Aruba 800 and 2400 controllers but see nothing in the wireless tab, can you send me the fix to try? Thanks Richard
-
Hi Jiri, Will do, can you provide an email address or secure mechanism for me to send it as it will contain our live IP routing tables which I dont want to share with everyone ! Thanks Richard
-
That one didnt work on the ASA, no results But it did work on the Switch that is working in NPM for routing tables.

I tried 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.21.1.1 and get nothing on the firewall or a NPM working Cisco switch. I tried an snmpwalk from 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.21 too which should show everything below it and also nothing. I know the snmp is working as I can get a response from a walk to 1.3.6.1.2.1.4 ok. Maybe Cisco do not support this OID? Does NPM…
-
Thanks for the reply, however this still doesnt correct the fact that the new hardware health is reporting that the psu is up when it is down.
-
Hi Jiri I do not get any response from the firewall on this OID on the firewall. I've also tried this OID on a switch that has routing table entries in NPM and I do not get any response on that either, despite it showing the routing tables in NPM/ Thanks Richard
-
I have this problem too, just created a new sql report and it fails with the same error on some users. I am running 10.1.2 SP1
-
Here are the snmpwalks requested. Thanks
-
I've checked and the picture below is the result of the NPM_Routing table and there are no entries in the NPM_RoutingTables table for the NodeID in question.
-
I have a similar issue, no jobs run, on the same versions as you. If I start a job, it says starting job but nothing.
-
Time to log a call with Solarwinds I think
-
Which mib do you want the snmp walk from? Rather than upload the whole thing.
-
LastSync reports the last poll for me whether it was successful or not. Even with a node with 100% packet loss, Last Sync shows the last poll time. Looks like SystemUptimePollUtc is a better bet.
-
Yes thats right :-)
-
Hi Jiri I have checked and the router poller is assigned. Thanks Richard
-
Thanks Yann, although we haven't purchased the APM module and cant really justify the money for it just for this one request ! Hopefully someone else may have another idea?
-
Thanks, however I have many views by device to show different pollers and statistics depending on the device type (UPS, Firewall, Switch, etc). In the drop down, I have 'by device type' selected which means everyone gets the same customised view per device type.
-
Thanks, found it :-)
