Hi, Solution are: speed [19200|1200|2400|38400|57600|300] and stopbits /d* This will onlu exclude speed on the line vty/aux/con sub commands and will not affect speed 10/100/1000 on the interfaces. Thanks

Hi, I do have the a RegEx Pattern set to ^speed and ^stopbits but its still showing on the reports as a change to the last running config... Thanks

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I read the details on the doco. It doesnt state NPM, NTA and NCM combine as one cluster. We have 70 location possible increase to 100 in the next 2 years. Each location has 1 Cisco 3800 with average 50 interface. We need to monitor this interface using NTA with no plans yet for polling engine per…

Hi Georgiy, Thanks for the quick response. I understand what you meant by 2 interfaces on each flow. Im currently monitoring the LAN interface but not the WAN interface. The reason for this is we need to know which endpoints inside the LAN is generating most of the traffic both in and outbound (mostly in as our traffic is…

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I couldn't find it. Unless I'm looking at the wrong section of NPM. Is this part of SAM? If so, I don't have all my servers monitored in SAM. Mostly use SAM for critical servers running AD, Exchange, SQL. 90% of the servers we monitor are Cisco CallManagers and Unity.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. This has been an ongoing issue with us. Everytime we shutdown the server for upgrade/relocating to the Data Centre/maintenance, under Monitor Polling Engine the Engine Status for the WEB server is stopped. A reboot will fix it but it's not a permanent fix. Anyone have any idea on a fix for this?…

Hi, Thanks for your reply. The "Changing the Web Console Color Scheme" only changes resource box, not the Menu Bar with the Orion Network Performance Monitor. I'm sure to change the color of the Menu Bar, this has to be done on the backend, similar to changing the Web Console Site Logo. Please help as our Corporate color…

Thanks Brandon for the reply. How about the background on the Admin Logout / Settings / Help section? See attached screenshot. I couldn't find the image file on the page source. Thanks

Hi bshopp, Thanks for the post. I have followed the link and its instructions but it does not validate Flash Player. This is more useful for weather maps that are using GIF as its map forecast. Any other ideas? Thanks

I have restarted both web and db server and the status on the polling engine remains the same, down.

Hi, Thanks for the replies peeps. On the customer portal, I have SolarWinds-Orion-AdditionalPoller.exe but doesnt state the version. On my existing web servers, I have SolarWinds Orion Core 2010.2.1 SP1, APM 3.5, NCM 6.0, NPM 10.1.1 SP1, NTA 3.7 so I'm not sure if I have the correct APE version. I'm only planning to…

Hi Andy, When I execute a "show ip flow interface" the result shows the LAN interface where the sub-interfaces are created from: FastEthernet0/1 ip route-cache flow If I apply ip route-cache flow or ip flow ingress/ip flow egress, that covers all sub-interfaces associated with the physical interface. What's a PCAP? BTW,…

Thanks Donald, it's working now.

Thank you all for the replies. Im more after a billing solution that can detect source (LAN) and destination (WAN) traffic and how much bandwidth was consume. Troubleshooting wise, we have NTA for that already. LANGuardian just adds an extra application on top of NPM and NTA (identical solution). Right now, we use SNMP…

BUMP Anyone? I'm using SQL 2008 as well. Here is my setup and right now I have 14Gig on my DB server running at 45% memory use. Thanks guys for the reply. I will check it out now. We just purchase AL100. Thanks again

Thanks Andy, I will use your specs for our Polling Engine Server. The Web/Polling Server is on 32bit because we originally started on NPM version 9 and back then, I read issues running on 64bit OS. Now the NPM 10 supports on 64bit 2003/2008, we may look at upgrading our server later. Not much users login to our Orion web…

Hi All, Mine states Solarwinds Orion Network Performance Monitor v9.5.0. Does this mean there is no SP installed? If so, where can I get NPM SP5? I know SP4 is on my customer portal page but no SP5. Thanks

Thanks kweise, I will open a ticket with SW soon. Also test your steps and see if that will work for us.

Hi, I would prefer to take on the 2nd option using the "Total Bytes Transferred by Cisco Devices - Last Month" report. How do I schedule this to generate every month and email? Thanks again for your replies.

Thanks Andy/Marie, that fixed it.

Hi guys, Thanks for your prompt replies. Much appreciate it. The custom HTML is great, now the problem is that under Account Manager -> Edit Account, the Default Network Device will only allow me to put one node. It will not allow me to pick my custom view with picking a default device. If I leave this blank, I get a…

Hi, Thanks for the reply. My SQL Server is on a separate box and is only dedicated to SQL DB tasks. Im using CBQOS but only on 16 nodes and 16 interfaces. And yes, I have set the to capture only the Flows required to represent the "top talkers" on my network. Thanks

Hi Andy, Thanks for the reply. 1. For each 70 location, the 3800 have only 2 physical interfaces, Gig0/0 WAN and Gig0/1 LAN. LAN we create multiple sub-interfaces which is assign unique VLANs using encapsulation dot1Q VLAN ID. On the Gig0/1 LAN physical interface is where I setup the following command: Slide 2 ip…
