Not a huge fan on the wording of today's questions. I have a feeling there will be a number of Red X's. Week 3: Question 12 Sorry, that's incorrect. Come back tomorrow for another chance at earning points & entering to win fabulous prizes.

My first computer experience was a Commodore 64. When I was younger the only way I could play video games was to browse directories using MS-DOS. I graduated to Windows 3.1 and bernoulli disk drives. I built my first tower with Windows 95 shortly after. My main motivation was a faster gaming rig. After a while, Networking…

We love leveraging scripting and jobs when it makes sense. Two things. One item I love is a good python script. We have one that runs against our WWAN OOB devices and checks for route entries and RSSI status. If it is not favorable, we can restart the cell services automatically to re-establish a route if it become…

Congrats All.

The first scene I though of after reading today's question.

I have a few tech items. These usually fall through, but if I am being hopeful, perhaps some of these will show up. As a father, I can always expect socks and underwear. Time for some Father Tech to come through. IPad (Still rocking IPad Air v1) Arlo Security Cameras / Lights (just because they look cool and I want to…

Congrats to pierrenndsb and the winners so far this month. A few more chances to go.

I have already let my boss know and my out of office is scheduled. Lets do it!

Probably some of the best prizes to date. Looking forward to this mission. A Fire Stick compatible projector would be sweet.

I have changed ours to 30 for now. Thank you for the query. Did you make this into a Report with a Custom Query resource? The query only returns disconnected sessions, not active sessions, correct?

I wonder why the default for this is set to 2? Did you change yours? What did you set it to? There is a canned report for VPN Remote Access Tunnel History that is set for 30 days. I might change mine to 30 for now. I am trying to see if there is a downside to editing the value. Thanks for finding that, Kyle

Thanks for the update before I headed into the rabbit hole. I assume another hotfix is in order. I do see the different handshakes in the 30 day report. I am not sure if a report is going to help unless I run it every day and then just add them together. Thanks for the update, I guess we will wait and see.

That is pretty much the boat we are in right now. We currently do not utilize Office 365 (we are looking into it). I was hoping to find an easy way of migrating information to the cloud. Not necessarily login information but Account Numbers, Contract expiration, and SLA information of services if applicable. The…

No luck this year . Be gentle on the ticket when you scratch. Pretty easy to read after that. Good luck all!

We do not own SEM or run it. We are Splunk folks but use Log Viewer everyday. The UI and learning curve is much lower for Solarwinds products vs other vendors. Next SIEM refresh Solarwinds will definitely be in the discussion for us.
-
We are using it currently to monitor our hosted virtual desktop platform.

Definitely bookmarking this. I am looking to overhaul the user experience this winter for Solarwinds. Try to do our best to customize everything in our dashboard for our environment. This will come in real handy.

Any luck with this wickedoz? I am also seeing the same issue currently. I will start working on it and let you know if I come up with anything. I will probably look to the hotfixes first.
