Web reports are not at the level of report writer... Either make Report Writer independant of the whole setup or upgrade report writer to equal or exceed the level of reporting that report writer brings us.

It's a bit of a DCIM feature... You might want to integrate with Netbox (https://github.com/netbox-community/netbox) or something like it

That setting does not require config file modification anymore. It can be changed using the Advanced Configuration (https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Advanced-Configuration-access-in-Orion-Platform?language=en_US). Simply search for "ValidateCounters" in that page to change this setting.

Pretty please!!! We spend a lot of time making sure that all of devices are monitored the same way. We have a lot of duplicated devices in multiple sites. Having to use the Sonar Discovery regularly, this would be a great plus (and a remake of Sonar Discovery would help as well ).

It works for the Interfaces. Another issue with multiple ips is that a device that can send traps or syslogs via multiple IP / interface will not have that trap or syslog treated correctly in NPM if the message is not coming from the monitored ip. 

You can place $variables in your alert text or e-mail that identify which node fired the alert.

It would help to avoid mistake when you have multiple small subnets...

Yeah... That's an issue I have with my current workaround. Because there's a few places where serial numbers are in the SWI data space, I have an alert that fills a node CP if empty, based on UnDP or asset inventory, or NCM. Since the CP is assigned to the node and not the members, it does fill only the Master device…
