Hello. We find really helpful the option to give agent management rights with no administration rights, only linked to node management.
-
Hello. This feature has been implemented? I have not see were we can set thresholds for Linux Average Load based on number of CPUs. We only have the option to alert based on custom queries, but no option on the node level. Thank you
-
Really good point. It has no sense to have it there for nodes were it is not applied and have end users asking about that.
-
Hello, same case here. Not all jobs failure are critical issues. We need the option to set them as warning is some cases.
-
Although this is an old request, is still needed. Being able to set volume threshold with absolute values is a must.
-
This option is really necessary in big platforms
-
Just is case, there is also a newer FR open for vote: (+) Manage Agents Permission Separate from Administer Orion Permission - Feature Requests - Network Performance Monitor (NPM) - THWACK
-
thanx
-
We have the same problem. We have created this Feature Request for voting:
-
This feature would be interesting for you too:
-
The first point seems to be specialy interesting
-
Same case here. There and old feature request open too: (+) Access Agent management without needing ADMIN rights - Feature Requests - Server & Application Monitor (SAM) - THWACK
-
Hi! This is currentily posible, at least with custom poller tables. I suppose that it Works with regular custom pollers too. In the "I want to alert on" check list, select the one for Custom Pollers. These images are an example that we use: Hope this helps
-
I totally agree @"spuri"

There is a releated Feature Request opened that would be interesting for you:
-
The User Tracking product is going to be related to the UDT module?
-
Additionally, there should be an option to manage agents with no administrator rights
-
Hi @"bruce_jarrett" In our case we have most customers using Viptela, so for us Viptela SD Wan is a priority over SilverPeak. Of course, SilverPeak and other vendors integration are welcome.

Is there any news regarding this FR??
-
Hello, maybe this can help: (+) Need an advise to integrate Orion and GNS3 - General - The SolarWinds Platform - THWACK
-
Hi! Just by curiosity, what hardware resources has you needed for this setup?
-
Hi! The best option it's to open a Feature Request. You can do it in the next link: thwack.solarwinds.com/.../feature-requests
-
Same error here, how did you solve it @"raymondakrawi"?
-
There is a Feature request for this:
-
Is there any information about hardware requirements (CPU, RAM and Disc). I assume that hardware requirements are similar to agents, is this right?
-
We have deployed an ORC and the hardware consumtion is similiar to agents. In our experience ORC was a necessary improvent, so many customers have isolated IT areas, and this collector is really hepfull for those cases. We are happy that it is here. I wonder if it is possibe to collect syslog / traps through the ORC.…

Great features!!

What about last versión of Orion? We had several maps configured like in this article, but from Orion 2018.4 ongoing the map name format resource is not available: Anyone with the same issue? Do you know what to do in this case? Can it be done in a similar way? Thanx!

We have a case where SNMP monitoring is not posible for HP Aruba due to security reasons, so is necesary to do it through the API (something like is done with the Meraki API).
