Thanks.
-
I love the word Kubernetes, thanks for the info.
-
Not been to one in person but the online THWACKcamps are brill!
-
Interesting article, thanks.
-
Wow! I've actually won something, this never happens to me! Thank you very much.
-
Cheers for the information, more reading for me.
-
Interesting, I'm still not convinced that cloud will s\ve any money in the long term.
-
Thanks for the info, I've not used SDN. In the back of my mind is the worry that software can be hacked or infected with malware. I appreciate physical devices use firm/software and so it's probably a psychological response

Have a good one everyone!

The instructions here worked for me, Tenable scan was happy after. https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Server-Application-Monitor-SAM-and-the-Apache-Log4j-Vulnerability-CVE-2021-44228?language=en_US

Very sad news, THWACK has benefitted greatly from your ideas and input. Best wishes and good luck for your new adventure, I'm sure you will have great success in whatever you do. I don't suppose I'll get my lost baseball cap now but never mind. You still have the coolest name ever! All the best for the future.

Kemp load balancers would be great.

Each month was roughly a year long, except when we managed to purchase and get to our holiday home in the sun in beautiful Fuerteventura Then each week lasted about a day so a month was less than a week! The best thing is we managed to get back here in December for a couple of weeks and then decided to stay over for…
-
It resolved itself when I applied the release version.

Hi Rob, Not sure if you want this here but anyway... The biggest pain I've found is "Group Members" are not clickable so you can drill down to nodes from a group view. See html below: <a href="javascript:void(0);" class="containersTreeNode-expandLink"> <img src="/Orion/images/Button.Expand.gif"…

Ah! Installed it yesterday and also have SAM - must have downloaded it before it was pulled. CPU on the server is 100% almost all of the time. Is there an easy way to roll back or is it best to restore a server backup? EDIT: a server reboot appears to have resolved the situation.

Sorry I don't follow your answer, Cisco prime displays the correct results.

Cisco Prime

Hi, No I didn't as it appears to be affecting many if not most users. See Wireless Heat Map Pete.
-
Most of my studying was based on the admin guide. Good luck.

You need to log a ticket with support to get the fix.
-
Yes, there's an error when clicking the subnet that doesn't load:
-
Unfortunately I haven't had time to look at this or submit a support ticket, I have realised that the subnets where this happens are not on a DHCP server but statically assigned (for servers).
-
We are Splunk users along with Splunk Enterprise Security.

I did try upgrading from 2019.4 but unfortunately had to roll back the server from a snapshot and the database from a backup. This was due to some missing DotNet DLLs. I've not tried again since but may build a new Server 2019 VM to run it on instead of 2016 to see if that helps.

Would it be possible to use this on a Group Summary page using the Group Name to filter the results?
-
What a neat solution. Great work!
-
I'm thinking when you double click on a group on the map rather than just display the information panel in the side panel (which would be great if it could display the group's members) that it shows the map for the group. This would be particularly useful for nested groups.
-
Love this new Map feature. Being able to drill down in nested groups would be a great addition and the ability to move nodes/groups etc. about on backgrounds. Kinda like Network Atlas on acid Brill job.
