  • We're a little behind the ball on thwackCamp 2014, but I'll have some exciting news to share shortly. Stand by, we think you'll really like thwackCamp.Next.bsciencefiction.tv
  • Hello there, demo guy here. I went into the /maps folder under program files and it's not there, just the map maker file. I better not loose that one or the image is gone from the demo. ;-) I've been searching Google and actually found a couple of other ones I'd use if I were looking to replace it, but not that exact one.…
  • Hey Patrick, Patrick here. Have you taken a look at ? They let you build reusable scripts to get data and make changes to devices. What's really cool is you can add a little meta in the scripts and they automatically generate forms so users don't have to do CLI or have access to admin credentials. If you set up limited…
  • Great question. It was really easy for me to add that to Orion, and I actually spent much longer looking for a great map than actually adding it to the demo. Here are the steps: * Locate the content you want to add to a particular view, in this case it was the image inside of this page:…
  • aLTeReGo‌ I think what Core is doing is looking at the TCP connection remote host port and then sending that to the agent as the target update port on restart, rather than asking the agent what its internal port is. I'm guessing that's a bug- most cloud would work as described above with a NATted public port for the agent.…
  • Your SCP number is in the form SCPXXXX, and you're also assigned a 10 digit verification code. These should be included in your completion email and will be printed on your framed certificate. The SWI number is internal and not necessary for verification.
  • Thanks Jase, I'm glad you like the demo. Yes that's just some of the buttery goodness of 10.2, along with IPv6, WMI polling, multi-CPU charting, HP wireless, more Juniper, as well as faster mapping and UI streamlining. It's a great upgrade. :) -Patrick
  • Thanks for the details. I'm wondering what the AND/OR/IN condition looks like. Is there any chance you could post the generated SQL for that alert from the DB?
  • I say it on thwack, in tradeshow booths, and on SolarWinds Lab over and over, but our products are made by you. You are the experts, ultimate testers and creatives who know how management products should work. We just listen and do what you ask for. ;-)
  • I can see a couple of other reasons you'd want to manipulate headers as well, like a REST API that requires a particular content-type or otherwise it barfs, spews XML when you least desire it or other general missfeatureism. Proxy directives, caching control, user-agent and other headers are also candidates for specific…
  • I have not. However, SQL Server on Linux makes me think we'll all benefit from 3rd party MS apps on Linux at some point. I'll take actual MS Linux libs over WINE any day. ;-)
  • That shouldn't happen. Did you open a support ticket?
  • Thanks for the post and I’m glad you liked the booth. I built all the demos for the show and am happy to tell you what I did. Just for background, although I was a programmer in a former life, I’m more interested in content than development, and I didn’t do any custom programming for the show. Everything you saw was…
