Looks like 3 "IDEAS" asking for the same thing: True APE's for the IP Address Manager application - IPAM polling from an additional poller - Support for Additional Polling Engines - VOTE THEM ALL UP

you did great! I definitely look forward to the missions, makes for a nice "break" during work sometimes. Welcome Maria. You all have a great weekend!

it is awesome, the install was great - especially since after the main NPM engine, I can do all the additional stuff in parallel !!!!! what a time saver!

can you put the links to the votes rather than the people? that would help greatly. Agreed that SNMP thresholds on an individual node should be manageable. SQL Server and RAM is perfect example as well is used disk space. CPU is another. Linux systems can run at 100% with no worries. we have some that do it for 8-10 hrs a…

I didn't count, but I think at least 25 users were there.

I have run into this as well. you get the little grey dot showing child object unknown, but main object icon green b/c ICMP responds.

I was under the impression that it did allow for upgrades and patching without downtime. that is disappointing and unfortunate.

Agreed, change requests and associated CI's. Bonus if we can mute specific object types such as CPU, RAM, hardware health, interfaces, volumes, apps, etc. we'd love to be able to tie this to change requests as well, and in various ways, i.e. unmanage vs. mute alerts (still collecting data)!! morning bump

#mvp #bumpsquad please vote both up.

I like the idea, but would like a button to "back out update" or "what would change" because over time, application monitors get tweaked with custom ports, etc..., that get forgotten about and this could cause much consternation.

I understand there will be major improvements for F5s in the next release of NPM, to include member awareness.

check out an addon called firebug getfirebug.com/ They have it for chrome, IE, and firefox.

I did, thank you much!

was this working before or new settings. polling every 30 sec. is just icmp. stats collections is what you want for more granular statistics to show up polling. set that to 1 minute and test

this used to work if I remember correctly, back before SWQL/SWIS. you could use ${ID} to get the app id of the currently viewed object, etc... or ${NodeID} for nodes...what happened

FYI - Link doesn't appear to work in chrome. got it working in IE though...

I upgraded last night to RC 2 from 10.6.x, as well as upgrading to IPAM RC. Install went smoothly for all with minor exceptions: 2 systems I had to wait an extraordinary time for the starting installation "splash screen" to move to where it asks if I want to send usage stats and continue (one system was over 45 min here).…

additionally, it would also be most excellent (and remove the last needs for the F5 enterprise manager) if you could poll the F5 for what certs they have and what the Virtual Server(s) the cert profile is applied to!

I'd like to see more flexibility from SW side as it seems like a HUGE PITA to go to every system to move the tasks for user cache files and google updates, etc... GREAT FEATURE Addition though! always in steps, I know Keep up the good work SW
