So who won? I was busy dealing with the aftermath of a Cisco code bug.

If you thought the #bumpsquad would let this die, you are mistaken

- Moved to NBAR2 on our ISR 4k's and 2921's instead of using NSEL on our ASA's. Game changer. - We're finally moving away from our old PRI's and jumping to SIP with redundant gateways - We also moved from SharePoint to Kentico in Azure for our CMS, it's been interesting. - Implemented an IDR solution that's giving us a lot…

Use the middle click (click the scroll wheel) on your mouse, it opens links in a new tab

For sure. There are a bunch of ways to solve the problem, but I feel like there wouldn't be anything lost if the change was made permanent

Adding new sites into SolarWinds today. There goes another hour to creating dependencies

wluther and I just watched the dreaded refresh happen during the NPM 12 webinar we're here to bump!

Relationships. While studying for my degree, I managed to land a position as a help desk intern through a random classmate who I struck up a conversation with. I was at the bottom of the totem pole, but I was excited. My top priority was to be friendly with the other help desk folks as well as the administrators and…

Congrats yaquaholic!

Well yesterday we found out the hard way that the fiber channel switches in our brand new SAN don't have redundant power supplies...

Our company has over 80 remote sites that are connected via Business Class coax internet. Outages are a daily struggle. Based on what I'm seeing here, this new feature will help us more quickly identify where the connection is dropping? If I can have another weapon against the first level of support, it sure would help.

You guys are bumptastic!

You sir, do an amazing job of writing new custom widgets and resources to make dashboards INCREDIBLE. Major props to you and all the amazing people who have contributed to Eric's master thread of customizations, you folks are the real heros

Love it!

Oi! That was a tough one for sure. The answer(s) is/are indeed in the video.

I agree! Slight oversight on my part.

Bumping from the grave. The OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.105.1.1.1.6 is confirmed working on the following models: 2960X-48FPS-L 2960CX-8PC-L 3560CX-12PC-S 3560CG-8PC-S 3560-G48PS 4503-E 4506-E The OID description fails to mention that a value of '4' means you have a PoE controller failure for that port.

FYI the spirit of this request is more-or-less addressed with the new Dashboard framework that's in beta right now! Hopefully it makes it into GA :)

Friday bump!

I agree. In order to pull business hour information I have to include a timestamp in the report, export it to Excel, and use a formula to only display outages from 8-5.

Welcome sir, on behalf of the #bumpsquad

Hi Eric, Your configuration sounds about right. I sucked it up and created all the groups and dependencies I needed, it just took a very long time. The system is working well for us so far, but can get a little weird if the location's internet service is flappy. In this case we might get an alert on the router in addition…

One of our locations lost two out of their three phases of power, so we get an email from one of the office administrators (on their iPhone) asking why their internet was out and when we were planning on fixing it.

Great stuff. We have dual 6807XL's and they're hit/miss. We definitely regret purchasing the ASASM line cards.

I was thinking about having node uptime/downtime info on this little popup. You have my upvote!

Just finished a call with meech... bump

You don't accept that you got it wrong? Is that because you're nitpicking every single question and finding reasons to justify your rage? It doesn't matter if you "don't accept it", you got it wrong because you chose to over-think the problem. Take this month as a learning experience and take a chill pill.

"My NOC monitor needs to show a report" bump

That's some serious syadmin bandaid action

Bumping because it's what Susan would have wanted.
