Perfstack projects are available as widgets once you've created and saved the project from within the main Performance Analysis screen. Simply search for the name of the project while creating a dashboard, and it should appear as a widget. You can create a NOC view to rotate between multiple views…

I've been using Orion for over 7 years and somehow missed this setting. THANK YOU!
-
That's not exactly a surprise. Did you find the answer you were looking for? You should be seeing the update available for your environment via the Orion Update Tool in the web console.
-
Is the node that's down being managed with the agent? It's also possible to have an agent installed but still be using ICMP/SNMP for status & response time polling. You can check this under List Resources.
-
Double check to make sure that you have all of your 1400's using the same view. You can do that through the "Views by Device Type" setting: .../Orion/Admin/ViewsByDeviceType.aspx
-
I'm not personally aware of a way to accomplish this natively, even with account limitations. I don't know if we have a way to solve this people problem

I'll defer to our local trading guru @"designerfx" to provide some insight, but from what we've seen this is what you'd call "wrong place, wrong time" and not criminal. An investigation will surely be conducted, though.

I also want to add that, as customers, it's easy for us to put the cart before the horse. SolarWinds is in the middle of managing the remediation (which is priority #1) and also working with several agencies to assess the situation. We're two days into this... give it time, y'all. Patch your systems. The proper thing to do…

Not gonna lie, I'm having a hard time being diplomatic with this reply. I'll sum it up like this: Your maintenance fee goes into a lot more than just support. Think about all the folks within SW who work incredibly hard to bring updates to the platform before you ask for their lunch money. Here's a handy graphic to show…

Yes, HF2 is included in the offline installer. I can confirm. There have been a few other folks asking the same question, you're not the only one!

NPM 12.2 Hotfix 3 was released last week, but then got pulled. It was re-released today.
-
Thank you very much for the explanation. I had a sneaking suspicion that this was the case, but you put it in better words than I could.
-
Who can I talk to about contacting support for a trial product?
-
Thanks for the tip! Yesterday I spent a few hours digging through every possible connection string, and the Trusted_Connection value will force the service account credentials to be used instead of the specified Uid and Pwd. I'll be on the road all day today, but I'm hoping to find a workaround soon This is one of the last…

Do you mean the Orion Platform 2017.3 Hot Fix 1?
-
What solution are you referring to?
-
But it still works in the preview?
-
Thanks for the info! Looking forward to seeing HF2
-
As far as I know, v3.3.0 is completely borked, not sure it's a feasible test bed for this issue
-
It does! It works flawlessly. I've never seen the Web Console move so fast.
-
Interesting, that second picture doesn't have the icon that I have next to the "Show in NOC mode": Just an observation. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be working, though. *EDIT* I also don't see the "Customize Page" resource in your screenshot. Are you logged in with an account that has permission to edit views?

I assumed the macros were populated with info from the Credential For Monitoring field in the application template? I tried specifying the domain\user and password in plaintext in the connection string but it is still giving me an authentication failure. I have the Credential For Monitoring field set to <None>. The error…

Can you double check the polling interval on the node/interfaces that you are viewing in the SolarWinds charts? It's possible that those polling rates were bumped to an interval that is greater than 60 seconds.
-
Thank you! I am by no means a web developer
-
The SolarWinds Configuration Wizard. It will reconfigure your IIS site to "factory defaults", so any add-ins you have installed or customizations you have made will be removed. This does not include views, discoveries, reports, etc, since those are stored in the database.

I know this thread is ages old, but we never ended up solving this. We enabled ingress and egress flows on the interface, and we are seeing spikes again that are not caught by NetFlow. Any other suggestions are welcome!

It's a creation from mesverrum, I'm working on getting him to post it on Thwack. I don't want to take the credit!
-
Quick FYI - Orion 2019.2 HF2 dropped last night! Your custom SWQL resources should be working now
