VMAN and SAM cannot yet integrate directly with Azure in the same sense that the new Cloud monitoring can do for AWS. That said you can certainly put agents up on servers in Azure and monitor servers.

Are you using syslog alerting by chance for neighbor events? I just recently replaced all of that here for the same reason, it was generating a lot of extra noise.

I don't believe there is a limit on the number of accounts you can have. If your specifically asking about concurrent connections, it is recommended that around 10-20 before you should start looking at the additional web server. You wouldn't need to add an additional polling engine. You can purchase a stacked polling engine license(s) and add to your existing server assuming your server has plenty of capacity hardware wise. That depends largely on your polling method. If you are polling your ESXi servers directly or through vCenter polling. If polling through vCenter then you can get away without SNMP polling.

It automatically upgraded to VIM 7.1

Yes, I had the same issues with vCenter 6.5 I was told that IVIM was replaced by VIM 7.1 with NPM 12.1. VIM 7.1 fully supported vCenter 6.5 as soon as I did my upgrade last week I was able to connect to and monitor vCenter 6.5

I too am seeing this on NPM 12.1 I will be opening a ticket with support to find out why this behavior is this way. I had hoped to be able to copy views in order to templatize dashboards. However, the fact that the view lims are some how linked and change even though the view IDs are unique prevents this.
