Hi, what do you mean with "timeout period for DNS settings"? I can nslookup New IP, Old IP from my Solarwind Server, they all response with the correct answer. The hostname of IP 192.168.10.29 is old, and not update with the name in DHCP client name column.

Thanks you, Last time I used the report Top 10 CPU and Memory Usage resource and there is no Edit option. I moved to Top XX, then the Edit option appeared

Could you guide me how to see that case, or show up the link to this case? I 'm really interesting in

Thanks Jan, It works for me!

Thanks, I 'm very new to SWIS... After upgrade to SDK 1.7 I ran successfully Script "IPAM_UDT.ps1," the script to pull data from installed modules and aggregates the data in the IPAM view via custom properties. But I get these outputs like this one: UDTIP = 192.168.250.15 ConnectionType = Indirect No record exists for IP…

Yes, my opinion is same like you. Actually Transient Period is time how long an Transient IP got no response from subnet scanning and became Available Status. That logic means this period time should be set lower than IP leased time. Each subnet has its own characteristics of how much utilization of IP, and how frequently…

Try to readd some resources in node details page. Check again the List resources page, make sure all config correctly. Use Wireshark to monitor you NIC card in Solarwind Server.

Hi, "Subnet Scan" and "ICMP Scan" are different. "Subnet Scan" is process of scanning DHCP Server Scope, default is 4 hour between each interval. "ICMP Scan" is process of sending echo to all IP of Subnet. I think ICMP Scan always faster than Subnet Scan, that why you see ICMP Scan first then Subnet Scan. I just think hehe…

Thanks to this post. I also get in this trouble and find out the solution by here. First I know how to use UnDP Second I know how to search a specific MIB in the huge list of MIBs which Solarwind support. My fortigate is 110C, and OS is ver5.0. I know that is only support Fortinet core MIB and fortigate MIB then I must use…

Hi, I'm interested in this matter. My Checkpoint IP 390 terminated about 20 tunnels VPN site-to-site. I would like to monitor the status and the throughput in each tunnel interfaces. I think the Checkpoint Software must have that information in MIB first, then Solarwind NPM will have those information by querying…

Yesterday, I has updated my NPM to version 10.6. But Solarwind still not recognize my CHECKPOINT. Maybe I have to open a support case.

Hi, Long time to update this thread. Last two months, I opened a support ticket with Solarwind Technician, they told that I must upgrade NPM to version 10.6 to resolve this problem, because there was another case same as mine. However yesterday, when I upgraded my NPM to 10.6, the outcome went even worse. The list of…

My trouble last until yesterday. I rerun the UDT port discovery and then IP and hostname are showed up now. I Just don't understand how things are going on? But one thing I think it should be fixed in next version is that the UDT Switch column in Manage Subnet & IP Address should show only directly connected Switch. Now…

Hi, I did the same configures in Fortigate, but push them to Qradar, the same problem as Solarwinds. However I enable flow at another inside Interfaces, it works normally. Continue to follow this thread.

Hi, I think your desired report is possible. In solarwind polling settings, we can extend the time of hourly statistic retention to xx days. Default is 1 day, I don't remember. In my case I set 45 days, and of course this will take you more disk space. To my opinion scheduling monthly to run this report does not make…

Hi, Today I also get into this trouble, though I try to make this dead thread alive. Cisco lightweight APs are controlled by WLC, however we still can telnet/ssh to each individual APs by enabling management feature and setting an user/pass/enable pass for them. Then we can configure snmp just like switch or router. As a…

In NPM 10.5 and UDT 3.0.0 I Still get into this issue. I 'm trying to follow some direction here to fix this error. Thanks to Thwack community.

Thanks for good info, I add more Infos. UDT is using DNS to resolve the hostname. But more accuretely I think it uses A records in Forward lookup Zone to resolve from IP to hostname first, if the first step is unsuccessful, it continues to use PTR records in Reversed Lookup Zone to map hostname to one IP. In my network, I…

I am getting in your case now. Does anyone have solution for this case? Thank any reply

Hi, What type of devices you have? Make sue in UnDP you configure the Chart in web display of your temperature poller for each devices. I can display all of them well, if they have temperature value. I think in Multi Universal Device Pollers resource, Solarwind should add check-box of each polling devices like Response…

In addition to HSRP or VRRP issue I also get problem with neighbor scan feature. I used it as a scan solution to the host that cannot respond with ICMP because of private firewall. If IPAM doesn't see one Used IP in ARP table of neighbor device the, MAC of mapped IP will change from old MAC to 00-00-00-00-00-00. As a…

Hi I got into one issue:one MAC has no longer connected to my Network, but it is still in Current Network Connection Resource with indirect connection type. Some trunk ports in Switches has this MAC connected indirectly. That why my watch list is always active with this MAC. Does the new update will address my issue?
