Always clean in house first is a solid rule to live by. Unfortunately, when non network administrators can't isolate their problems, many will automatically blame the network. Very good, well thought out response. We did a lot of cross training back in my Navy days. I haven't seen much on the civilian side.

I am sure they will attack and we will here all about it. I'm sure we will attack. I wouldn't be surprised if we already have hooks into their networks. However, we won't hear about our attacks.

I can definitely see both sides of the Apple\FBI issue. The outcome will be interesting regardless of how it is resolved. I wonder if the if the FBI tried to have Apple do this quietly at first or did they just go with the heavy handed approach?
