I do agree about the cloud, lack of control and all. However, for a small business that can't afford a full time security staff, the cloud can offer solid solutions.

The JEDI Cloud contract has a lot of use DoD contractors confused. Some of our projects are moving forward with AWS, regardless of the larger contract. This means we will have to become adept with both. Sounds like job security.

Wannacry Ransomware has been targeting servers using the SMBv1 protocol. SMBv1 is an outdated protocol that should be disabled on all networks. Unprotects cameras was one of the first "Google Hacks" I discovered when getting my degree. I am not surprised to see they are still available to the general public.

Those are the type of bugs that would have to worked out. No more getting buzzed by an angry motorist, just because I'm in his/her lane. If emotions are removed from the commuting scenario, that would be huge.

We tend to have power and space issues. Loosing power greatly shortens spinning drive life. SSD is more resilient when it come to power It also takes up less space.

Wendy, I was collecting points as normal until Friday. Prior to answering the question on Friday, I had nearly 101,000 points. After answering the question, I dropped to just under 98,000. Any ideas?

NT was an odd cat. Saturday night was when we did our weekly maintenance. Part of that maintenance was complete backups for all servers and then rebooting them.
