I would go to the node details page of one of those devices and check the following and see if the date is current or in the past. You can also click on edit node and check to see how you are polling ICMP or SNMP if SNMP run a test on the community string to see if passes maybe someone changed the community string.

If you already licensed for 11.0 then 12 would not of let you activate it. Are you sure it's not running on trial mode you can run license manager on both to see what the status is once you are ready you de-activate the licenses on 11 and activate them on 12.

Sure you can delete them but if they are not assigned to a server then it's really not doing anything or consuming any resources.
