Question 9 was the first one I had to take a guess for (luckily - I guessed correctly ). Like many others here, I found the hint useless. BTW, if you try to click the "watch the recorded version here " link in the hint, you get a "HTTP Status 400" page, quite possibly since this post is from 2011.

Congrats for your 20K uidsw !! I've got the Backpack - It's awesome, I say go for it!
-
Hehe, question 3 says "Perfsack" Thwack admins - you might want to do your magic . . .
-
Good point willumsen, Might be useful for us as well, I'd like to see this one come to life
-
Nice one Jfrazier! I think Thwack should add one of these to the prize list, what say you?
-
Dependency slippage hurts indeed... These are good points, Mike and nfrancis - I voted up for this, hope SW guys will add this to next version.
-
Good shout I like this idea - as long of course as it's not implemented as a mandatory field . . .
-
rschroeder - I did have access to the slides, but there's absolutely nothing useful there (At lease nothing I could find). Quite a few (7 by now, including me) users here found mldechjr's (1st) comment above helpful... Try to read it closely

No worries lindsey.serrano,
-
Aaaaannnd.... Done.
-
Anyone got the points for this yet, or is it just me?
-
Yes jgriffin_tmk !! We're missing this feature so much, it makes life so much easier in NPM!! SW - please bring this to SAM as well.
-
I also missed last year's SWUG in London due to over-booking, so would love to get in involved in this one! Based down in Brighton - so London would be an easy jump.
-
+1 rrichter@vcpi.com !! I really needed this today but ended up taking super zoomed out screenshots of large NetPaths. PDF / SVG / other widely supported vector formats would be great.

Hi cobrien, I've just Pm'd one to you. . . Thanks!
-
Thanks aLTeReGo, I've requested this here: http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/2350 The additional node option did cross my mind, but the tradeoff of maintaining 2X web server nodes (and counting them against our license limitaions) is just not worth it.
-
Thanks cobrien, I did catch your response. Reason #2 is invalid in this case - there's no proxy, nor any device spoofing the destination. (www.google.com for example...)
-
Thanks for the clarification meech, I've actually seen the time limit about 2 seconds before posting mine - but figured it was worth doing either way
-
I have to monitor both sites on each web server, and each site is bound to a different IP Address - so either way I can't simplify it. That leaves me with the old-fashioned manual labor for now... I'll be happy to hear if anyone else comes up with other creative workarounds for this issue. BTW, Do you think it may be worth…

Any news about this bug (and the fix )? We're stuck with the exact same problem, it prevents us from producing a much needed report. . .
-
Thanks for the link lkrell ! I hope this gets fixed soon

Hi Elenka This issue seems to have resolved on itself somehow, and I cannot reproduce any longer. When it did happen - It was on both Chrome and Firefox browsers (I didn't check on others), and the map's default zoom level is set to 2.
-
Update: reinstalling NetPath did not resolve this issue for me. I've ran "Orion Diagnostics" and sent it over to the wise people at SW, for them to further analyse this bug.

I'm planning on using 3 different NOC Views, all customized with relevant data for 3 different users (Our IT Team, our CTO and DevOps). I'm still in tweaking mode, but here are my DevOps views at the moment. P.S - I wanted to say this is a great topic, I keep seeing a lot of great ideas here and it's a great inspiration.…

Just bumped into this thread - very helpful indeed! In my case, I've decided to install the SDK on a different path than the default one (D:\Solarwinds...), and since it's a Windows 2016 Server, the microsoft.NET paths are a bit different. I thought I should share the relevant paths here and save someone else the hassle in…

Wow... The silence here is deafening
-
SW Guys, any news on this one? I've had this issue for a while on my previous installation(s) of Orion NPM, and still have them with the latest 12.1. Would be great to hear from you on this issue . . .

I've been playing around another idea: To manually set the secondary IP Address of each machine as a Custom property, and then use it in the HTTP Monitor on my template. It's still very "manual", but saves the time it takes to drill into the HTTP Monitor inside the template of each node and bypass the ${IP} macro. However…

First of all - Thanks for your quick replies, I appreciate it. Indeed, these additional macros are supported in SAM's HTTP monitor, and documented in the Admin Guide. I even found the ${Node.DNS} macro to be very helpful for a different template I've been working on... But unfortunately, that does not answer my question:…
