Hey Victor, we had a node go down in our cluster and needed our vendor to restart. This should be fixed now, but if you come across this again in the future, send me a direct message and I can provide you with a work-around to get you off the node that is giving you issues. I don't want to publish the work-around, though,…

Orion doesn't have user groups. The only user groups would come from Active Directory.
-
It's not anything cosmetic, so you shouldn't notice any changes. The things I need to fix have more to do with our backend integrations and code...plus a few smaller things from an admin perspective that will make Danielle and Maria's jobs more pleasant. :-)

This is awesome rharland2012! Thank you for posting the good feedback, too! I know support really appreciates the kudos, too.

mwaimu86 - You, yourself, cannot add MIB's to your database (unless you're using IP Monitor); however support can do that for you. You can easily open a support ticket and provide us with the MIB's you need added, provided they are not already part of our MIB database. There is a section in your customer portal where you…

I'll send you a private message to discuss further.

Moving this to the Web Help Desk forum to see if we can get the right people viewing this question.
-
dancoh-betsson - can you provide me the case #'s? I will see about getting some eyes on it for you. Thanks!

Have you looked through the MIB database? I'm sure there a many places you can find it, but I find it most easily from my Customer Portal, under Helpful Links. That might point you in the right direction. If you don't see the MIB or MIBS that you need, you can request to have MIB's added to the database and SolarWinds will…

Hi cgaul656 - I'm going to move this under our Network Performance Monitor forum and see if we can get you some additional experts looking at this question. Hope it helps!

One of our MVP's CourtesyIT put together several different documents but there is a really good one targeted at new SolarWinds users. I would recommend reviewing his document and all the content he has listed in that document. You can find his document here.

Maybe Radioteacher can help answer this for you! He has some great insights! :-)

For more information on the latest release, please visit our new NPM 12 product page.

The hotfix should be located in your customer portal, located under License Management tab then scroll to Service Packs & Hot Fixes. When you expand on the product, there should be any hotfixes or upgrades available for that product.
-
You should be all set jrschafluetzel. Let me know if you any problems with the new username. ~Rach

Have you looked at the Network Topology Mapper product?
-
cadventurer - someone from Sales should be reaching out to you shortly; it looks like you might be using an evaluation version, but either way, they can get you in touch with an engineer to assist.

Moving to our Orion SDK forum for you! :-) I think this might be a better forum for this type of question/need. Good luck!

Hi pperryrlc. While the N-Central product is now part of SolarWinds, there is a separate community for N-able products. You might find your answers by visiting the community specifically designed to discuss the N-able product line. They also have several KB articles online for you to research. I hope this helps!

This is a good question for our Alert Lab forum. I've moved this question there so you can, hopefully, receive some more eyes on it.

Have no fear...the document accidentally got deleted, so I need to go find it and bring it back to life! Sorry about that guys!!!
-
The easiest way is to open a support ticket. These are presented to development and prioritized appropriately. If you have enabled SSO there is an option on your profile page to submit a ticket; otherwise you can submit a ticket via your customer portal.

Hmmmm... that's very interesting. I've spent many days staring at profiles and have not seen this. I looked at my own, and it was accurate. * rachel.morrill@solarwinds.com * JOIN DATEJuly 18, 2011 * LAST LOGGED INMarch 8, 2015 I will definitely look into this further. Somehow you've managed to teleport into the future ️

In order to monitor services, processes, applications, etc. on your servers, you would need to have our Server & Application Monitor. NPM will definitely help you monitor your devices, their performance, packet loss, etc. but if you, also, need to monitor the services running on your servers, you would want to take a look…

It's interesting you mention this; I know this has been a recent internal discussion but nothing has been decided just yet. We'll keep you posted as we have further insight and direction from the business, though! Thanks for bringing this up; I'll make sure to show this comment to the right people! :-)

I've moved this to the NTA forum; I think that might yield you some better results. :-)
-
rubincompserv - I moved this to Storage Resource Monitor forum. Is this the product you are referencing regarding your alert questions? If not, let me know and I can move this to a more appropriate forum for you. I just want to make sure you are getting responses from those using the product in question. :-)
-
I've moved this to our VNQM forum so you hopefully someone who owns this product can answer your question. Good luck! :-)

Hi rickb@fresnocfcu.org - I have moved this to the LEM forum in the hopes you will have some more visibility on this question from folks that know LEM well.
