Marc, SEUM Remote Players create 7 local accounts (their name is starting with "SEUM-") on the machine where they are installed. Typical issue we see quite often is that the local accounts are not permitted by the domain policy to launch new processes. The quickest possible work-around would be to make sure they are local…

Try running SWShortcutRepair.exe from Toolset installation directory.

Use Process Monitor (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx) to check what process is writing to this file. I guess it is the SQL Server itself writing into this log. You might be interested in this thread…

Hello, can you explain what you mean with "the applications don't seem to run"? Do the processes die as soon as they start? Or they just hang and do nothing? Perhaps you could use Process Monitor to see what is going on with it. It is most likely an issue with one of the libraries that may be obsolete and not compatible…

The old SNMP Graph is still included in Engineer's Toolset 10.8. The executable is in the installation folder (default is C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Toolset) and it is named "Deprecated_SNMPGraph.exe". Please open the support ticket anyway.

justinh, the settings are valid only when the actual style is set to "Default for object type". Check the group Objects on the Home tab - the drop down menu shows the currently selected style. If you choose "Default for object type" in it, the settings you set will be applied.

The maximum number of simultaneous connections is 1024. The log message you referenced is just a small detail about the internals of the product that may be important to developers. It does not mean there are two active connections, it actually means there might have been two connections in the past, and the current number…

The "SolarWinds Orion Toolset Integration Service" is running as process SWBrowserIntegration.exe and is by default installed into c:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Toolset. Can you check it is not running?

Did you run a new discovery? What if you click on an unknown device on a map? Does it bring you to the device details page?

please see this post for more detailed information:

Hi, my first thought is that it might be a license issue. Can you verify your license has not expired, and is still active?
-
Nodes can be set as unmanaged and then their status is ignored on maps (with SP5). Is this what you are looking for?
-
The limit is set to 100.

The "unexpected error has occured" message may mean anything. Please open a support ticket so we can analyze the logs to help you with your issue.

Did you check the two troubleshooting chapters in the admin guide? See page 341 here: http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/udt/docs/UDTAdministratorGuide.pdf Also check the event log on the domain controller to see whether it contains events with IDs 4768 and 4769.

Thank you for pointing this out, we have never noticed that. Does it cause any issues?

The text boxes currently cannot be resized. This is a known bug tracked in our system. As for the copy, it is not possible to use clipboard to copy map from MapMaker to Network Atlas. Try to import the map using the Main Menu - Open map.

hello, I am not sure I understand what you are trying to do, but perhaps Switch Port Mapper is something you are looking for?
-
Locate the installation folder (default is C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\TFTP Server), right click TFTPServer.exe, select properties. The version is displayed on the Details tab. The latest version is 10.8.1.19. If you do not have the latest version, you can get it from…

The ports, when discovered, are added automatically. However, you need to select them for monitoring automatically.
-
I just tested that and it looks like the problem is in the quotes you used. Try Department='CampusSW'.
-
I am not sure about the database, but if you set the time to a value which is not the actual time, Network Atlas may not be able to connect to the server from remote machines with correct time.
-
Hello, could you please check whether the Job Scheduler service is running?
-
yes, you can do that using Network Atlas. Expand the Maps node in the tree on the left - you will get a list of your maps. You can expand each of the maps to see their contents (not only nodes as objects on the map, but also the objects assigned to links).
