Hi, do you have SAM installed together with your NPM?
-
Hi newkidd2, I really appreciate your feedback. you have good comments. Our current priorities are alerts and reports but I believe that we can improve syslog as well. Is your list sorted by priorities? thanks, Michal
-
Hi, did you use "test alert" button in alert manager? It is not what you are looking for?
-
Hi deverts, 1) We’re polling CISCO-ENVMON-MIB, and CISCO-ENTITY-SENSOR-MIB and they aren’t supported by UCS. The UCS Manager polling does not support HWH, too. 2) I can't give you any commitments regarding GA date but it's usually matter of weeks. 3) Could you please be more specific and describe what problem with reports…
-
there is an EOC compatibility hot fix that solves this problem - EOC 1.3 Compatibility Hotfix
-
thanks!

Hi Chris, thanks for share report from Variphy but Jim is more looking for advanced alerts in VNQM: 1) open Advanced Report Manager 2) Create new VoIP report 3) select Duration & SUM function field (and additional fields you want to see in the report) 4) define condition (time from & to)

Hi Jeremy, sorry for delay, our engineering team was investigating the options here. unfortunately what you want is not possible right now and it would require a feature request (may use thwack for this). But I'd suggest to click on a chart - to have it opened in a new window and there you can easily change the resolution…
-
I'm tracking this as a feature request and to be added into IPAM as non standard RFC DHCP Options (user specific). There is no workaround how we can add new custom options and I can only recommend to create new DHCP scope via IPAM and then set the options additionally directly on Cisco DHCP server.
-
If you wanted to change something in our old charts, you had to do that via edit page (for example change the visible time range). Not you can use your mouse and change time interval on your chart in a second - that will give you an opportunity to focus on chart spikes or gaps much more easily comparing to old charts.

Hi Radioman, we know about this problem and we would like to reduce the size of installation file for the future.
-
thanks: see our http://thwack.solarwinds.com/community/network-management_tht/orion-ip-address-manager/blog/2012/05/16/what-we-are-working-on-post-ipam-30 - this feature is there as a "Split Scope"
-
hi toothfairy, do you think you can send me SNMP walk from your gateway please? We would need to validate polling of PRI trunk utilization. You may also try it here in our beta: thanks, Michal
-
yes, that's it. thanks.
-
Hi, all who needs Cisco ASA DHCP support - check out our What we are working on post IPAM 3.0
-
Hi Matt, what has historically changed in IPAM licensing was amount of managed nodes as DNS/DHCP servers (as we added management for those back in 2013). Other than that, IP Address license tiers remained the same.
-
That's correct, it's currently not monitored by VNQM - it does MGCP only. SIP trunk monitoring and call association is one of our highest priority to implement for VNQM in the future.
-
Hi, we know this is a "wanted" feature so it's definitively on our list.
-
Hi, IPSLA admin guide: http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/IPSLA/docs/IPSLAManagerAdministratorGuide.pdf thanks, Michal
-
that's a build in functionality of Solarwinds Alert Manager (win32 app) where you can define a script that can run during alert or you can use an option to send a sms directly. You can refer to admin guide where is this process well described. thanks, Michal
-
Hi, what kind of script do you mean? What's your use case for that?
-
Hi, in general you can go to the Thwack ideas & feature request page and create your request there. Based on the other users feedback we will consider that for the future releases. thanks, Michal
-
Hi sjweinstein, thanks for your input. Actually it would be good if you could create a new feature request/idea right here: http://thwack.solarwinds.com/community/network-management_tht/orion-ip-sla-manager/orion-ip-sla-feature-requests so another users may support that. thanks, Michal
-
we would like yo help you but you need to let us know what is your problem (if Cisco guide didn't help). Please be more specific. also let's continue in this new thread please; http://thwack.solarwinds.com/thread/50339
-
Hi Bilel, what exactly you would need to know?
-
Hi Bilel, if you mean OID that we use for setting and monitoring then it comes from Cisco-RTTMON-MIB and for ICMP Echo it is:rttMonEchoAdminTargetAddress for read/write. thanks, Michal
-
Hi Biel, In regards the first question. I assume you are asking for a list of IPSLA operations supported by IPSLA Manager: - DHCP - DNS - FTP - HTTP - ICMP ECHO - ICMP Path Echo - ICMP Path Jitter - TCP Connect - UDP Echo - UDP Jitter - VoIP UDP Jitter To respond you second question: All Cisco hardware running on Cisco IOS…

Hi, thanks for your feedback. We've started to monitor this request (FB95327) as reaction on "what we are currently working on" so I'm adding +1 there. What would be useful for us is if you could tell us what data do you need to observe and why (is there anything extra comparing to currently supported call managers?). Also…
-
We are collecting more feedback because we need to know what exactly we need to tweak to support ShoreTel call manager.
-
I know, to be honest we always found highest priority tasks to implement through previous versions. But, because similar thing is being discussed here: http://thwack.solarwinds.com/message/171233#171233 . We are going to reconsider this request and increase priority of this feature. Hopefully I'll have a good news for you…
