I assume you would like to limit that just because of your network infrastructure and not because of performance of your central server, correct? thanks, Michal

we can hear you - I've increased count on our internal feature

Hi, VPN is definitely something we want to expand on in NPM. See our latest "what we are working on" - we are going to start with VPN concentrators but this is just an entry point for the more information about VPNs, IPSEC, etc. What exactly would you like to see in NPM?

* .1.3.6.1.3.118.1.1.1.0 if is it non-zero there are any configured VRFs then we are interested in .1.3.6.1.3.118.1 subtree * .1.3.6.1.2.1.10.166.11.1.1.1.0 if is it non-zero there are some configured VRFs then we are interested in .1.3.6.1.2.1.10.166.11.1 subtree * .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.711 if is it present then we are…

It's very true IPSLA support in VNQM doesn't catch up latest & greatest Cisco IOS versions (and variants). Sadly, the implementation of the newly released devices and IPSLA is complex and and we will focus on that once we release SIP trunk capacity and call monitoring for VoIP. The IPSLA support is essence of VNQM, I know…

Hi Scott, it's not out of the box alert, but let me check the custom ones...

we may have a workaround for this, let me talk to our engineering and I'll come back with the result.

Hi Billy, so you want a report (ideally with chart) that shows you average bits/s for each node/interface you monitor via NTA for some period of time - this is my understanding. the query above is just a list of nodes and interfaces but without any average bits/s for specific time. Maybe I'm missing the point. how about…

very nice

so this is great question. What you would expect - as a user benefit from additional pollers for IPAM. Let's forget other modules have it, what benefit it should bring to you? To me, additional pollers are typically miss-matched for remote probes for IPAM to poll remote sites (like duplicate subnets to get the IP status)…

Hi deverts, that's a good request and makes sense to me. I've heard this from multiple people running NAT/external IPs. Would you like to see there a "NAT/ext IP" pairing option. Or how would you like to use this/UI? The only workaround that comes to my mind now is use custom property as a hyper link which can take you…
-
hi, we have it as an active feature request already. I believe this will be changed soon.
-
good point Dave!
-
Hi Deltona, do you mean remote probes?
-
IPAM 4.0 is now officially out for a download/upgrade.
-
hi, CNR support is also on our list but currently it's a minority of our users so we would like to cover the bigger "half" first. But it doesn't mean we would ignore your request.
-
got it - it's a current priority for us (BIND, ISC DHCP)
-
would you be ok with an alert in case of IP address conflict (including details about MAC addresses and subnets) or would you require additional IP status - "unavailable"?
-
we're glad to hear that Mustafa - would be cool if you can try beta when available

DDI is a marketing term and specially Garner take it to stamp a product that offer A) DNS service, B) DHCP service C) IP Address Management. However it doesn't say anything about integration of all these services. Look at Microsoft Windows server as example. They had Windows Server with DHCP and DNS services for years and…

adding +1, thanks.

Non from SolarWinds NTA side. And it unlikely will be from our side in the near future. Our NTA is primarily NetFlow collector and doesn't want to become a central router for incoming NetFlow streams (that's task for other - ideally HW vendors). NTA wants to be a better bandwidth monitoring tool and get more application…

That's what we're working on for v2 (complete re-do in order to give our users better tool how to correlate all the information from remote Orion sites). Our latest beta is out right now to try/see: Latest EOC v2 beta ready for test
-
we want to implement it as native feature of IPAM (specially because it works when you create subnets manually via bulk import).
-
Hi, IPAM does support automatic scans for IP subnets smaller than /24 (it's because of long time needed for scan of single /16 IP address space). we typically recommend to create /16 supernets (your existing range) and then create smaller subnets (/24 or smaller) which will automatically create IP address scan jobs and can…

Hi, have you setup a domain trust between domain and Orion server? Otherwise authentication simply reject the credentials (not just the IPAM). We need to set trust between the Orion/IPAM server to talk to remote DHCP server in different domain.

Hi Happy, I'm looking at this problem, the scenario you've described should be possible. let me simulate exactly the same you have and I'll ping you back. thanks, Michal
-
Hi Mustafa, thanks for reminders. NPM 10.5 don't have such improvement, but we still have it on our list for the future.
-
what exactly are you looking for. more polling elements per single poller or UI speed improvements?
-
thanks Mustafa. We know about that and its on our radar.
