Hi Brian, We have quite a few customers running with multiple 100 Mb links in NTA. There may have been an environmental issue causing the problem. We can help you move past that roadblock. The CBQoS monitoring will automatically start showing data for all CBQoS interfaces. How many CBQos interfaces do you have? BR - Andy

There are a couple of these reports posted by this user in Content Exchange. Make sure to thank him!

We use SQLOLEDB provider. ODBC's dad.

Can you investigate the traffic load at that time? CPU load? You may have to do some packetcaptures to find out why.

1. When you create a UnDP it defaults to a node poller. You have to click the Advanced button and indicate thsat it is an interface poller. 2. Add a transform results function of {poller1/10}

Hi Alex, I'm a little unclear on what you are trying to accomplish. For a case where there is a remote site with redundant paths you could group the remote routers or interfaces and set to best status as you indicate. from there the alert is easy. You can use the built in "group down" alert or qualify it to a specific…

It looks like the PAN-COMMON-MIB does not have an OID for user connections. There are OIDs for sessions and session table utilization. Monitoring the sessions table would give you an indication of how loaded the FW is with active user sessions, good for capacity planning. Is that what you want to know or are you interested…

I need this as well. I'll see what I can come up with.

The operations will be replaced by IP SLAM at the next polling cycle if they were created by IP SLAM.

Hi mhh351, We are investigating ways to off-load some of the work we are asking SQL to do. It is a priority for us. Andy

I would create a report then display that report in the web. You could edit this one and change the time frame.
-
We have seen a couple of issues with FF4 but be aware that it just launched this week and so has not been through the QA cycle here. 3x is the presently supported version.

It allows you to limit the number of hops discovery will go. Set to 0 as a default which is actually 'disabled'. USing a hop count >0 can help you to avoid discovering the Internet and such.

Try this.... Uncheck the Store blog posts box.

Admin -> Orion Polling Settings

Orion scans the database for the trigger condition as often as you set on the 'Check this every __ setting on the General - Advanced Alert Manager tab. " If you poll every 5 minutes but set the check for every 1 minute you will see the results of a bad poll withing 1 minute of detecting the event but detection may take as…

FOr what's its worth, before I came to SolarWinds I was tasked to find one of these passive systems. What I found is that the usually were a combination of active and passive monitoring, required dedicated hardware and lots of $$$$.

Today NTA does not show in vs out traffic, we combine them. The good news is this feature will be supported mid next year.
-
It is NTA using netbios for name resolution - you can shut it off in NTA Settings

Have you seen this Tech Ref? http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/Orion/docs/SettingUpCiscoUCS.pdf

I've done a little customizing but this should be close.

Hi jacobjo, If what you are asking is to monitor external websites in SAM and then have a resource that shows just them, here is what I would do. 1. Create a custom property and assign to all of the applications that you want in the new resource. (Assuming you already have the applications monitored in SAM) 2. Go to the…

Just add the servers like you would any other node. It might take a couple of minutes for the ESX server views to populate.
-
We have tested the 1000v with NTA and they work well together. In fact, Cisco uses our NTA module in their 1000v customer demo setup.
-
Devices must be managed by NPM to add them to NTA. They can be read only managed - if that helps with the SP.
-
You could do it with 3 seperate alerts. That way you only need to specify the trigger.

Hello, The OID not supported error means that the AC units agent is not supporting the OID. What I would do is use Engineer's Toolset to walk the MIB on the AC agent. The MIB Walk too is great for this. When you find the right OID and it returns a value use the UnDP to poll that. If you don't already have the Toolset you…

Yes - that is the number of domains the user has visited. The blank field issue may be a bug - I'd open a ticket on that one. Andy
