Also see this thread forwarded to me by Karlo regarding timers and how they work.

No. When you remanage if any trigger the alert level you will ge alert actions.

I f the updated MIB points to the 1.3.1.4.1.3417 branch then it will correctly show up as Bluecoat. Riverbed uses the 1.3.1.4.1.17163 branch I the vendor update moves the old branches to these branches, you will see the correct names.

I think that is where the JOIN function is needed to relate data from the CBQoS MIB and the CBP Target MIB. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_2sb/feature/guide/cbqosmap.html
-
The NTA module does retrieve CBQoS data via SNMP and has CBQoS resources built into views. You can use it to for CBQoS only if you want, there is no need to enable NetFlow on the routers.
-
Stay tuned - I have a paper in edit now that shows such. For SLA's groups and dependencies give you a method to measure a business process SLA. For example a web ordering system could be dependent on web site status, back end process servers and network elements.
-
Did you run the Web portion ofthe Config Wizard?
-
can you attach a screen shot of the NTA results when you DL a known size file?
-
A couple of things you can do at this point. Do a sho ip flow export on the router and make sure the IP address and port of the NetFlow collector are correct. Also check that the output indicates packets are being exported. Next take a packet capture (Wireshark) from the Orion/NTA server interface and see if cflow packets…

Hi sky, Is this a production version or a 30 day trial version? Andy
-
Yes - That is supported. Just set up the group rollup carefully. http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/Orion/docs/Groupsanddependencies.pdf
-
Well, you've got me on this one. I suggest support - they can fully investigate. Andy
-
The portal is available to all customers under maintenance. You will need portal access to get the production bits of NCM. Otherwise you will only have access to the 30 day trial which should not be used to upgrade a production server. If you are not under maintenance please contact Customer Service at 866.530.8100.

Have you opened a ticket? If not, please do.
-
You don't have to use the IP SLAM product. You can configure the operation from CLI and read the results from CLI. IPSLAM makes it easier to do so on a large scale and gives history, alerts reports etc.
-
This is specific to individual members
-
There might be an issue we are not aware of. Can one of you open a ticket on it so we can determine the exact cause? Andy
-
To best answer I need to know the scale of the network. How many sites and site classes are we looking at? How many sites per class? Does this change much or are the number of items static?
-
From Network Guru You should be able to use the Syslog Alerting to notify you when a port goes into error-disable stat. Here are some examples of the e-mail alerts I have configured: ERROR: %SPANTREE-2-BLOCK_BPDUGUARD: Received BPDU on port FastEthernet2/17 with BPDU Guard enabled. Disabling port. SEVERITY: Critical HOST:…

It is the "All Node - Tree (AJAX)" listed under "Nodes lists......."
-
It must be installed on NPM.
-
CBQoS is SNMP polled via a new poller and is implemented and displayed by NTA. It is Cisco specific.
-
They work for me on my Orion 9.5 and NTA 3.5 test VM. You should open a ticket on that one
-
I see. IP SLAM won't write them to startup but I'll let the PM know you are interested in this. Is it possible to make an exception for IP SLA configs discrepancies or manually copy run to start? Once you have your configs set they shouldn't change, so it's not something you'ld probably have to do very often.
-
ICMP status polling.
-
Hi cavemancan, It sounds like the 2800 is managed by the ISP. If so, there is probably a larger issue of getting them to turn on the netflow exporter and point the data at your NTA server. Has this part been addressed? Andy
-
Good deal!
-
I'd open a ticket on that one. IP SLAM should be replacing any config it created.
-
Can you share the alert(s) you have tried?
-
Looks like you are referencing the status OID when what you want is the status message OID.
