We are looking at supporting CBQoS in a release this year. What would be GREAT for me is if you can give me as much specific information about what you expect to be able to do, what your use case is. Let me know if you would be willing to talk to me directly about this too! Andy

Are you installing as local administrator? If not, please do. Aslo make sure any other NetWork Management programs are not running during install.
-
Yep - anything you see in the Node Details page can be queried, just have to be good at SQL and poke around the database.
-
Yes - the hourly data points are not held that long. You can see what the user was doing but not to the hour level. I can ping the PM with a feature request if this is important to have. Andy
-
I cant see the whole error message. Can you attach it?
-
Can do a MIB walk on the device and see what it shows fro the interfaces' status?
-
The traffic on the WAN will be optimized so you shou'd select flows frm the ingress or egress LAN.
-
So the net effect then would be to provide something that is actually > 95th percentile by not including data at the 95%.

It looks like you are OK on the alert portion. Are these test alerts or real alerts? The reason I ask is that test alerts only test the action, not the condition.
-
The logic of the alert as writtten will trigger whenever any of the conditions are true, so the node names will always trigger the alert. You could split this into two alerts, one for transmit and one for receive.
-
Hi Jesse, I'll make a note of this for the roadmap. Andy
-
Wow - that's a long time. Have you looked at the polling completion rates? If they are low then the server could be overtaxed. How many elements do you monitor?
-
Yes, unless you click rediscover on the down node details page. The down node will have null IP.
-
No such thing as a silly question. Thwack is a good place to learn and we can help you find the educational resources you may need. Take a look at the New to Networking series here and feel free to post. Also there is a paper on Advanced alert manager here. Andy
-
It would require 3 advance alerts. This is not very dificult. Create the first one then copy and alter the copies to match the criteria for each.
-
I see - you are stuck in an AD loop. Can you open a ticket on this so we can investigate depper?
-
Hi Andreas, What software version do you have on the ASA?
-
Sorry about that - I misread that as NPM - My bad!
-
Yes - this process can take a while.
-
Hi Bryan, Have you applied VoIP SP2? It is required for VoIP with Orion 9. Andy
-
Is the poller polling the signed in web users? Looks like the concurrent users OID gives odd results.
-
I too am no sql expert unfortunately. The NTA database is pretty easy to understand though so I guessing that with your knowledge of NetFlow and an sql guru it wouldn't be too hard.
-
I'm trying to figure why it would need a reset.
-
The second doc should include that, but I'm not sure what you mean by agentless.
-
What version of CCM are you on.
-
For Orion 9.5 you need VoIP 2.1
-
Looks like the graphs were still loading during the screen shot. Do they complete?
-
Sounds like you could use NetFlow Analysis on the Internet connection. I don't workin sales but, Try it out for 30 days here... http://www.solarwinds.com/register/registration.aspx?program=815&c=70150000000CgeI&INTCMP=3HPTabMap_FreeTrail

A couple of months ago. Being that you are still on 9.1 have you tried rerunnung the hot fix?

Hello Mag, Do you know if the SMTP configuration is working? The reason I ask is that we get a lot of these with the problem being that the SMTP settings were not valid. Can you test the email with a very simple alert?
