@"yumdarling" I have searched and do not see any statement about dynamic backgrounds. I think the answers may need to be corrected. Can I get a reset?
-
Agree completely. I had to click around for a while to find it. No easy gift of a question for Christmas!

SD-WAN controller/edge maps & Wireless controller/AP maps

Same here. Getting unauthorized when trying to access the brackets.

I was asked to move to a new support team to handle network related phone calls. I worked the graveyard shift and started to just work problems as we did not get a lot of calls at night. Well I started to pick up more and more knowledge and started to become good at it. I got promoted to engineer level and our company…

Deployed Tenable SCCV and it has brought major changes in organization. The whole thing is working out well. Getting away from Cisco and looking at Dell 10GB switches. Configuration and deployment is working to our satisfaction.

My worst nightmare working with a Disaster Recovery company is that we would have our own disaster. With the impending Hurricane getting ready to hit the east coast, having our own Disaster could be haunting! Cannot always account for Mother Nature and her ways of splendor!

Like the smart home prizes. Just built a new house and trying to make it smart in every way possible. Got the Nest Thermostat and getting their video doorbell soon. Now just need the camera to go with it!

Netflow where does it go. With NTA I will know.

Looking at faster wireless APs since everything is wireless now. As well, checking out faster transmissions than 1GB. I ran Cat6A cable through my house and would love to run 10GB on new network equipment.

Congrats rileymat! Maybe, just maybe I will win someday!!!

Agree on Flash and Shockwave rschroeder!! Get support calls on why something is not working and majority of the time these things are not updated or get the fabulous pop-ups. They all just need to go and make life more easier.

It did take some time ecklerwr1 to find the answer. Server Information is the key.

Kill Java! It is a pain dealing with software updates. 'It is always the network, not the server!' Favorite catch phrase from server team when they don't work the problem instead of dumping it Get rid of 100MB port devices. Yes, still dealing with them. Everything needs to be Gigabit or higher anymore.

Winter is Here!!!

Always look for more personal data storage options. Cannot have enough disk space at home to store whatever it is! Smart-Home technology Security Cameras May sound silly but I do the cooking in the house, new pots and pans! Clothing of course as gets worn out. And as always, something I don't need but would like to have!
-
Congrats on being the big winner rileymat!!!!
-
Like Jfrazier states on Tuesday's question, the answer is there but it does taking some investigation into it. Some clicks will be needed to find it.
-
I did not receive points for today's question. Where do I send my ThwackCamp reservation to for the extra prize?
-
Way to go bluthru!!! Good to see you win since I cannot!!!
-
No points for me for Monday or Tuesday. I know kinks are being worked out!

I decided to go with Google Home as I got a new Vizio TV that uses Chromecast and going with Chamberlain Wi-Fi garage doors. I have not had a lot of time to get it all going. Been living out of boxes and working on getting organized before getting it all going.
-
Something is not right with the question. I would be selecting three as well. I am going to wait to answer it as it appears something is not right with it after reading the forum.
-
We do not utilize SAM in our organization.
-
Correct. Has to get some type of entry point for the NPM server to be able to get to them to get data from the loopback address on each device. We have sourced Netflow from that interface as well if you are running Netflow Traffic Analyzer. Works well! Just recommend assign a /16 block or something that not being used in…

Yes, we figured it out. Here is template we use and the stuff with inside brackets modify to your configuration on. It was all about the view and the oid-tree of 1.3.6.1 to read the MIBS portion that we had to correct. snmp-server contact (Location Contact) snmp-server group (Group Name) 3 priv read (Group View)…

Thanks. I would still like to see Telnet have the ability to be removed so some user does not click it!
