As mentioned in another of my threads my exchange servers are all monitored using WMI so that we are getting accurate readings for the database freespace which we weren't when using SNMP. Not sure how the method of monitoring on Solarwinds would affect what performance counters are available on the servers though.

So basically I can't do a search or report on it because it is not in the database, ok thanks

I am in the process of trying to get SNMP v3 working on a Windows 2008 64bit server, although I am still struggling to get it working I can tell you I couldn't find a 64 bit net-snmp at the version you mentioned however there is a net-snmp 5.5.0-2.x64 download available.

Ok thanks I guess I will have to find the time to investigate this further

No resolution as such the main culprit is the new java charts, if you are able to use Google Chrome rather than IE you will find the charts load much quicker unfortunately our company restricts us to using IE8 currently so I have to suffer the slow loading which is disappointing as I don't really like the new charts anyway.

I have raised a ticket, still waiting for a resolve though.

Did anyone come up with a monitor for Sharepoint 2010. Also I have noticed the counters in the Sharepoint Server 2010 template I am using in SAM 6.2.1 although showing as 'Up' don't appear to be returning any figures as all the charts are flat lining at zero, is anyone else using the Sharepoint Server 2010 template that…

I have created a second node using the same IP address but on our secondary poller using SNMP although I am interested to know how you got the above hardware display using SAM as we do use HP servers. Currently I have UnDP's set up to return hardware status of various components and I have alerts set up to email us when…

Thanks for your reply, the named gifs weren't in that folder, Solarwinds support have said these might just be unused now following previous updates but never cleared out, hopefully in the next update they will have tidied things up.

I have noticed this happening on both the workstations I have at my disposal, I am not aware of any other service packs for IE 6. The workstation connected to the plasma screen isn't running anything else and would appear to have plenty memory available when this has happened.

Thanks yes that achieves what I set out to do
