Still doesn't show credit for voting.

OK, I got today's question right but I have absolutely no idea what I was looking at or what it meant. Does this mean something in a larger context? I don't have the product. It was just a bunch of searches until I found the only one listed.
-
Without a hint to set the scenario, we are only left to interpret within our own experiences and procedures. This is why the "no-hint" questions are invalid and subjective.

As a native Kentuckian, it is never too early for bourbon. We even have a breakfast bourbon called Early Times. We have a bourbon for every occasion.
-
Yes, that was a much better link. Too late though for me.
-
Same for me and I have clock face for the answer, not a check or an "X" mark.
-
Today's hint for question 4 was useless. Even clicking on release notes from the hint link doesn't provide any useful information. I could find no date on either page. The links provided by @schneiderstev and @Jfrazier actually have valid information.
-
Then it is NOT trustworthy, it is allegedly trustworthy or the device formerly known as trustworthy.
-
I'd rather have correct information than a green check for properly selecting incorrect information.
-
In regards to week three's product, Loggly, how does it compare to Splunk? I'd like to see that comparison since we have been using Splunk for many years.
-
I got today's question, July 11, correct but I'm really growing weary of these tedious and trickily worded questions. I think I'm the only one at my place (9 of us thwackers total) that is still doing these. It's about to stop being fun and turn into work. I get paid to work and 150 points a day is below my hourly rate.
-
Agreed, if you had permission, all answers would be technically correct.
-
I think we can all agree WAPs are part of Oct 8th's correct answer. The rest is not so clear. I can eliminate one option because a method of attack is not a "rogue device" in my opinion. So, I see three choices that are clearly all mentioned in the hint document and should be guarded against. I will not be answering this…
-
I still have learned nothing from the Monday, Oct 8th question except that terminology cannot be trusted any more than this question/answer.
-
I'm not angry. But my answer, with included proof, is NOT WRONG! Yet, whoever creates these questions has one answer in mind, regardless of what the actual marketing material says. How is this educational?
-
If you are familiar with the product, maybe that works for you. I've never seen the product before and the map made no sense. There were no lines between Exchange and anything storage related that I could discern and I still, to this moment, don't understand what I was looking at. The only reason I got it right was that…
-
I don't speak marketese. Is a file server synonymous with a file share? If not, it isn't a match in my book and the question is false/misleading.
-
On Q6 I find two possible answers that appear to be as near matches as can be without exact verbage word for word. I hate when they do that.
-
You still fail to realize that getting the right answer from reading the comments does nothing to improve the understanding of the product for which this is ostensibly a marketing vehicle. Nobody would buy this based on this demo question and answer. I still don't know why the answer is what it is based on my own…
-
When you have to get out the crayons and explain things, the teachable moment has been lost. Test my knowledge, not my patience.
-
To be clear, I was NOT going to select them all.
-
Exactly, if permission is granted, it is all. My concern is where did Solarwinds get all this information and what safeguards are they taking to protect it?

Can someone define "Finally, take the fifth "s" word of the first Pingdom DYK" as: * A word that begins with "S" * A word containing "S" I don't find a possible fit. If it is a word contain "S", then these are the choices: (1) just (2) released (3) version (4) Version (5) security simplified requires username password…

Then what value is the hint? Why include a bad hint to begin with? It is not helpful and makes you question your gut. This is not good for training your customers on a product. Horrible, horrible month.
-
Just because you got the "selected" answer that the creator of the question intended does not mean you got the right answer or even the most right answer. If this month has proven anything, it is that the people creating the questions are not infallible and the material provide is at best, confusing.
-
They have set a precedent of not finding what you need on the landing hint page. Why on God's green earth would they put ANOTHER correct answer any where near this question? It was a bone-headed move no matter who you are or how you try to rationalize it. I hear a lot of apologist for their screw up.
-
It would be much better if it were reversed. That doesn't show up as red on my screen with such small pixels against the white background. It should be a totally red "rosette" with a white "X" in the center.
-
This is one of those useless questions. Who cares? Do you have a tool that counts your tools for sale? Do you count bundles as separate products? If it is 1 or 1,000, will it make a difference?
-
It certainly has been a difficult month. As a literal reader, I'm not fond of redefining things simply for the context of a question.

As a multi-decade Cisco firewall user and very short time Solarwinds ASA Insights user, I don't understand the confusion. I didn't use the hint and got it right. What did I miss that is confusing?
