Hmm…in my experience they’re usually turned off through GPO in the OS. That was it still powers the external devices
-
Ahh okay, so there wont be anything immediate, but it should reflect at close.

The 14th says "This question will open on January 27th, 2015."

Which Britain then spends on enourmous amounts of SW buttons and other swag?
-
Lol

Did you do them before? If so, then check that you did them on this computer. If you simply mean that they were last week’s questions, then you’re too late for the drawings for those days or the overall drawing, but you can still do them for points!

Rabbit Bacon? I wonder if that’s any good….

Currently at my company, we do not unmanage for updating, they'd rather wade through the cruft. And for distributing updates we take the good old flashdrive approach or just downloading them again. Doesn't make much sense to me. If we have 20 servers, then we should at least have WSUS. I didn't know that solarwinds had an…
-
I like that as well
-
So, uh, what kind of car is that? Would that be a ....SolarWinds Lotus?
-
True that!
-
Yeah. And I think that you could get fancy.server start is initiated at 630, and bass your alerting on 645 or later. That way if the server wasn't up 15 minutes after start, you could alert the related IT guy that such and such hit a snag before it became a production problem.

you know what? Either way this isnt a feature request.
-
Yeah, then they decided I wasn’t allowed to play due to knowing how to manually write to the database. >.>
-
It’s stuck in my head though!! I’m going to have to wash it out with dubstep. That’s all there is to it.
-
They’ll contact you. At your Thwack email, if I’m not mistaken.
-
I always go through all of the questions and make sure I've got the surveys answered and that I am getting all of the "You've already answered this" type thing toward the end of each week and month!
-
I bet both. You're either a procrastinator or not. All the procrastinators havent done it(unless it means they're procrastinating from their job ), and all the (not procrastinators?) have done it. Thats my bet.

Lol we need network hero fanfiction! EDIT: Apparently someone made some "IT Crowd" (british tv show) fanfiction www.fanfiction.net/tv/IT-Crowd

The sledgehammer or the battery thing? because the sledgehammer might affect our further troubleshooting...
-
I’ve done this too! I just didn’t think of it >.>
-
So, just to be clear, we don’t need to do anything to receive these emails – Microsoft will email us and we just have to respond and let you know?
-
I always like to listen to this one as I drift off to sleep www.youtube.com/watch

We need a new feature request for this. What (has been and ) is described here is that we want a way to automatically IGNORE intefaces, not filter them. I think we would all like it better if they just had a checkbox on Discovery and Node Import that just said "Ignore MiniPort connections" for example. Or even better a…

designerfx From working with these type surveys before, I'm going to go ahead and say no unless they build some kind of program that repeatedly downloads the results from the question (if this particular company offers an API), builds a database of who's who, and then a web service that checks your status.... which is to…

that would feel pretty damn sweet sending the customer a replacement part before theirs fails. I picture the customer getting a replacement power supply and calling you like "Why'd you send this to me?" and you get to say "Your power supply will probably fail in the next month, I was just going to replace it before it…
-
Wait a bit longer.
-
This definately needs to happen. Here is a link to a thread mentioning more issues with things needing to change that didnt.
-
We're only supposed to do that in our head?
-
If you have it sort by the Friday column, it goes back to normal.
