Is there any way to convert the TimeLoggedUtc over to EST?
-
This would allow us to give other users access to solarwinds and not be disruptive to there current infrastructure.
-
My guess would be Summer of 2022 we will see Solarwinds Drop 2021 new generation release I just hope it comes with the Universal device poller integrated into the web interface, and gives us more ability to export data from groups of devices, NetPath, and recurring maintenance schedules that devices can be assigned too.

Was there any Special configuration that you needed to do on the Avaya Call Manager to pull the Search VoIP Call records?
-
thanks for the help, I will try out the scrip and see what I get back from the scrip

The file share URL's are not available to the Orion Server, I was thinking about putting a Orion Agent on a server that did have access to \\fileserver\share\directory via WMI/Agent to performed the PowerShell script. Do you have any example or URL of a SAM PowerShell script to get the size of the folder?

Thanks for letting us know we are not the only one having this issue in our environment SW Support is non existent
-
we have rebooted most of the environment and still does not help address the errors that HF2 is throwing.
-
I am not able to see the release notes but normally the Hotfix 2 has the Hotfix 1 included
-
I though Hotfix 2 would included Hotfix 1
-
I am seeing other customers not having any issues with the installer but we think the upgrade might require 2020.2.1 Hotfix 1 for Hotfix 2 to work
-
If I had to guess I am going to say its not going to drop until Thursday 12/17/2020

you can try and temporarily disable your Anti-virus and re-run the config wizard to make sure your Antivirus software package is not preventing you from running the config wizard or causing your environment to perform slowly or unresponsive.

We are seeing a similar error with the login page some times it takes 3 - 5 minutes to load and then just error's out. we are seeing a similar slow or unresponsiveness trying to look at My Orion Deployment.

you need to be on version 2020.2.1 Hotfix 1 to upgrade to 2020.2.1 Hotfix 2 Not sure why SW did this, as it causes a lot of confusion but they should also release 2020.2.2 with the Security Fix incorporated imo. The 1.3GB File will have all previous HotFixes that were released (for 2020.2.1), but the Product needs to be at…

Alright I think that would make Both the Disk and Memory a 15 minute polling interval
-
@aLTeReGo Do you have any recommendations on what you would setup as the trigger conditions?

We are looking for a way to Modify the device templates / Device Roles that SolarWinds uses to determine the type of device it is discovering like a Networking Switch, or a Windows server. If SolarWinds does not allow us to modify the discovery attributes like contact or location or add a pre-defined attribute like device…

So something like the following? Query: SELECT tolocal(TimeLoggedUtc) as [Event Time], AccountID, AuditEventMessage FROM Orion.AuditingEvents WHERE NetObjectID = ${NodeID} ORDER BY TimeLoggedUtc desc
-
I agree If the hold line could tell you "the number of people that are a head of you" and or "average wait time is currently XX"
-
That is what I saw but there was NO clear documentation if the alerts use the Polling Interval or Polling Statistics. I think the Node metrics like Disk,CPU and Memory are using the Node Statistics Poll Interval at 10 minutes AND Node Availability status for hardware, interface, services and Ports are polled using the Node…

Also are there any release notes we can refinances on new features or defects that have been addressed?
-
That Might work, is there any examples on how to configure or setup the Alert Manager to change custom property if new device is added to SolarWinds.

Is there any status update when 12.4 will be available for production upgrade?
