That's an interesting request! Can you talk a little more about how you would use this in your network? Are there other types of transformations you would find useful? jreves

designerfx Let us know how you find these useful, and what additional features you'd like to see! jreves

Are you thinking here about IPv6 targets for IPSLA operations? jreves
-
We're prioritizing the UDP operations, because those are most useful for characterizing performance that matches voice traffic. I'd love to understand your requirements for ICMP operations - where you use those, and how you use the results. jreves

It's meant to address the current GA versions of the two call manager platforms we currently support. At this time, that's Cisco CUCM 12.5, and Avaya Aura 8.0.1. We're always monitoring new releases of these platforms, and our customer's adoption. At this time, we're not working on introducing any new Cisco solutions in…

Matt, please do open a ticket on this so we can take a look at the environment and get it resolved for you! joer

Mike, have you opened a support ticket? We'll want to investigate this - jreves

Xavier, support for IPv6 flow records is not available in version 4.5. However, support for IPv6 is something we're actively working on now, for a future release. You can see what we're working on here:What we're working on for NTA post 4.4 (June 5th, 2018) You can expect to see this updated when we release 4.5. joer

Great write-up on your practical implementation in a complex environment! Thanks for taking the time to compose and share this - joer

If you voted for this feature: It's available now as an NTA Release Candidate! Head over to the NTA Release Candidate forum, and check out the details here: NetFlow Traffic Analyzer Release Candidate Let us know in that forum what you think, and how you're using this feature to alert on flow traffic in your network! joer

Bob, can you open a support case for this? I asked the development team to take a look at it, and they'd like to get onto your system for a closer inspection. jreves

We support both NetStream and sFlow today - are there specific improvements you'd like to see with those? jreves

I'm curious to understand what flow actually looks like from the MS series; my understanding is that it's a switching device, so I would not expect to see NetFlow out of this type of device. Would you be willing to provide a pcap of the flow data that your MS is exporting? jreves
-
What we've been working on includes support for the MX and Z series, and not the switching devices. Have you downloaded and installed the NTA Beta release? NTA Beta1 Release Available! jreves

Nick - we can set up a show and tell for you, and walk it through. PM me! jreves

We haven't finalized how we'll deliver this. I would love to talk with you directly about what you'd like to see, and how you would use this functionality. Can we set up some time to discuss? jreves

rgnetmon, no this is a different feature. The intent of this feature is to provide for immediate flow monitoring from the local server interface where NTA is installed - in other words, to add the server interface as a source of flow data. For customers just trying out NTA, this will supply an immediate data source that…

We're always interested in understanding what drives scale, and how we can better meet those requirements. Tim, would you be interested in a talking with me about your environment and your drivers?

Bill, we'll be interested to understand how this performs for you. Do you have a timeline to install yet? joer

After the Beta phase is complete, the next phase includes thorough integration, installation, and upgrade testing, followed by the…

bobmarley, it has indeed been removed - you should be good to go! We added this in originally to handle situations when the maintenance job was unable to run for an extended period of time. We've removed the requirement now, to be good citizens within a shared SQL instance. The latest code implements a notification when…

Thanks to cobrien for the pointer; let me see what I can find out..
