Anna, is the demo server switched off now? I was going to show it to a colleague as it demonstrated the full power of Solarwinds in every aspect. Sometimes its easier to demonstrate rather than sell an idea based on a description alone.

Yes, it seems to be working great a couple of days afterwards. After seeing all the new features and the amount of content that has gone into this demo box I was amazed. Somebody put a lot of work into creating so many test scenarios. Great work

That's strange, jeremydr, I'm having the same problem at work. Can you send me a screenshot or msg of the home screen. Did it take you long to login after entering credentials?

Could not find anything more recent for PDU posts so sorry for hijacking your post. OK so we finally caught up on the technology and now all our PDU's in each Cab are sitting on the network also. I can now receive alerts and alarms etc via SNMP/SMTP. I've added them into my Network Diagram in Solarwinds for monitoring. The…

Six years old but we got there. Have you noticed Anthony how much of the Fujitsu Hardware is now being identified in V12, even the older legacy stuff? Never say never.

If you really wanted to get adventurous. http://www.entireit.net/server_room.avi OK so it was more showing off than practical. The idea was for a presentation to senior management about how we monitored the data centre.

As mentioned above it absolutley can be done in Map designer, with as little or as much detail as your willing to put in there. I started at the Datacentre level grouping servers into racks and racks into rows. So I could see an alarm on the rack and drill through to the problem server within that rack. It took a while for…

Not a tool as such. I've customized data centre images that drill down to cab content which is a simple group associaton So Row 1 Cab 1 When clicked on an aerial view then presents the cab content image for that group, manual image creation though

Adding the management blade nodes should return all objects in the chassis

We use Dicom with our PACS solution here at the hospital. Not sure if its dependant on the type of PACS your using (we are a Siemens Plaza Pacs with Syngo Via etc).m I know our environment is quite event log intenstive, writing out every little thing that goes on, into the Windows event log. We simply cherry picked all the…

Do you mean, something like a drill down map, where you start on USA, see a problem or node error, using your example California. Which when clicked on the map, swiches to the california map and then a smaller sub section of california say L.A. and so on and so on till you reach the node at fault?

Anna, has the demo server been taken down again. I know its been a year since the invite to check it out, I was just going to log back in and see what additional features were in there before sorting out my renewal

Do you mean like this? I've achieved this by grouping nodes into racks that they belong to
