I'm trying to answer yesterday's question and I keep getting a 502 error. Edit: It's working now, sorry.

I was going to post as well, but instead I'll confirm this was an issue for me as well.

Oh dear Lord is right! SMH. I like the link that shows Oregon as a state that does not allow you to pump your own gas. It shows a guy dancing in a gasoline rain, hahaha!! Not quite on fire....yet! lol.

I thought you were going to reference Back to the Future since today's question is 'in the future'. LOL

Do you know if Oregon still prevents people from pumping their own gas so they won't set themselves on fire? My Dad and Mom are both from Oregon and when we used to visit I thought it was a "blast from the past" as a youngster to watch the service folks come out and pump gas, check your oil level and tire pressure, etc. I…

That's crazy! I used to do contract IT services and when I worked at the doctor's offices I always made sure that they were aware of these potentially forgotten items. Of course, my first professional IT gig was with a company who wrote medical software so I had extensive HIPAA training and how it affected us from the…

I thought I answered the correct answers from yesterday and still got it wrong. Did I mess up and not read closely or did mine error again?

Great job all!

Ha! I watched Anchorman last night and then happened across this comment.

Thanks for taking your community seriously through all of this. The point system is a BONUS, and not required. The fact that this community was such a HUGE part of the migration consideration is a testament to what you all do and thank you for that. Not many others I know would have taken as much time and effort to do so.

Unfortunately, for any IT person I can almost guarantee that their learning comes from problems, right? I mean that's why experience trumps pieces of paper with no experience almost every time. But in the spirit of this request and active learning outside of work, I enjoy getting to this as much as is possible. Time during…

Hmm, problems with today's question?

I am going to add a programming language to the toolset. Some Python and maybe some form of Java. I have to be able to build more in-house items for our SCCM environment, whether it be mobile or workstation. Haven't settled on anything yet. I'll also be getting my SCCM certification early on as well.

yumdarling I saw that you rewrote today's question, but perhaps it didn't show up for me. This is the first time I've visited today's page and the question was terrible. Did the rewrite actually go to production? I see others complaining about it too, after you mentioned it was changed.

I like gadgets, and I wish the Store had more of them. I would love to see more than just a thumb drive. I understand it's probably more difficult and expensive to get items other than clothing and cups with the logo, but there is a demand lol. Thanks for all you do for us Thwack users! My list: Tile Pro Tracker 4k…

Hmm. Not sure how to complain without giving the answer away here, but the text in the hint and the text in the question use two keywords that mean the opposite. So when I chose my answer, it was incorrect. I know we all complain about little things and I've never been one to pile on, but today's just sorta bugged me.

I have been refreshing this page all day and the link never showed up. Seems a bit unfair that 5 hours ago some people had access to it. I put my thwack ID in the top field, left the rest blank since there were no instructions. I hope I get credit since it seems I'm 5 hours behind on an attempt at the gift card...

Nice, made the cut!! Thank you!

Why not, I'll give it a shot. Work from home we must, in this turbulent time Then I saw Flowetry, and my chance to rhyme I thought to myself, what could I write? I don't know Netflow, except from the SW site Then I realized, writing Flowetry is fun Until that next emergency, and I have to run But how does Netflow work, if…

Exactly as shown and not said. I wrote it as said and got it wrong.

This is true is some cases, but hopefully it just means a lack of titles that release with the console. Both consoles have been getting away from backwards compatibility (at least with the discs), which in my mind makes them not worth purchasing in the first couple of months or years anyway. But I guess we'll see.…

Just replying to make sure I'm accounted for, no points here either. Thanks!

So I don't have access to use SolarWinds in this way, but the ideas presented here give me some great ideas for running custom scripts/SQL queries that I use. I'm not a SQL admin but in the last year or two I've had to use it more. So this was great for me being that I could tangibly use the information in other areas.…

Anybody else get today's question wrong and feel like the answers are wrong?

I voted today (10/2/21), it's not counting the day as a green check mark. Did I miss it by being a day late?
