Wow, another tough one. Video clue didn't help me, I hit the NPM 12 admin guide and validated my guess there.

I agree, and when I talk to someone we might hire I try to find out what they are learning and how they use it, and I try to find out about a problem they took ownership of and ensured it was fixed. Ideally they worked through the details to solve the issue, but I want to hear that they stayed with it to the end and didn't…

Congrats itmike!

Your Resume might have to many skills or too much experience. Try a picture of a cat.

This is fantastic advice. Typically I script large scary things knowing that the first time will it run and only tell me what it would try to do. Then I run it with breaks so that I can audit what I did on the first few on the list, and finally I let it rip, but I always have a plan to undo what I did.

@"hansolo" I am not sure how NetBrain does it, how is their automap different from the map on nodes with the found connections? What cool things does it do?

Love the regular tests, we have subscribed management to click-baity fake emails that lead them to training when they fail to recognize the danger, and performance/training stats that get tracked. It really did help. We have been spearfished, and did really well against it. Our CEO legitimately sent an email that looked…

Paging jbiggley what you do think?

This was my first thought too. But I will read on what the technology does and doesn't do behind the "intent" label.

Serverless apps are low hanging fruit, then submarine screen doors, and I think we can agree that magic like you would see in Harry Potter will come before "Thoughtful and compassionate politicians" but its all on the list.

Yah, past performance with Microsoft is no way to figure out the future of GitHub, they can do great things and horrible. They can do both at the same time. They can be boring. It's hard to know what they envision, but its clearly an opportunity for them.

And a way to send link to that set up filters for other to see.

Politics aside, I agree with the idea that a website publisher should bear some burden regarding the content allowed. Similar to how I feel developers should be held accountable for deploying software that's not secure, or leaving S3 buckets wide open. Until individuals understand the risks, we will continue to have a mess…

I am with you. We are building at least 6 new buildings in the next 5 years, and likely renovating a significant number of other spaces. Our facility people love the bells and whistles of PoE LEDs. So far the list of reasons not to use this technology have been enough to keep it at bay, but someday Information Services…

Looks fantastic. It reminds me that I need to travel more.

I agree having the correct food is the issue. Filling the shelf with other stuff or not is just a symptom.

Medical applications move at the speed of sloth. I feel your pain.

Right now I need multiple alerts for this, so I hardly ever set things up with a delay, but I know the people who get my alerts want this type of wiggle room.

Thanks for the invitation @"ChrystalT" , it was fun!

I don't know, maybe you could take some time off. Just let these sweet thwack point go unclaimed. Clearly I am not trying to stay with you on the leader board.

I used to have reports just for missing RAM too. Times have changed.

Trust that they want you to answer it correctly. The link to the hint correctly goes to https://www.solarwinds.com/server-configuration-monitor

I got the error for today's question as well. It saved my answer correctly though, so it may just be the response page.

It used to be all scripted, but discovery got better, so now I do a few things. Windows "stuff" is 99.9% on a domain. We simply rediscover Server OS objects in AD, and we have rules to bring them in. By putting stuff from certain OU's on specific pollers I don't need any scripting, just server reoccurring discoveries that…

I am making a bunch of these for people for Christmas, they are really nice

Those template are good, I think Kevin right, and I don't know that Citrix puts what you want into OID format, those use performance counters. I think you want the brokered sessions counter. Other via Powershell , start with: Add-PSSnapin Citrix* Get-BrokerSession

Planning for IoT can really help, many types of business will be seeing the influx soon if they haven't already. You mentioned insulin pumps, and that is just one of many types of devices we are seeing in hospital. Anything that the nurse used to look at and occasionally write down a value is moving quickly to an IoT…

Many times when I hear some one doesn't want to automate, I dig deeper, and I find they don't really know when or why to do all the things they do. They know a screwdriver works a bunch, and its pretty good, but sometimes the screwdriver fails and they need the hammer, but don't really know why.

Traffic isn't proxied, I think its all done by DNS. Things at known bad DNS or ad hosts resolve to nothing and don't display the resource
