Quick update....it appears that we can use values larger than 2gb...another member was able to help me figure out where I went wrong. Would still like to see this be able to be entered in MB or GB though...since working with such large disks in bytes is tedious.

This was exactly how mine was...the only other thing I did yesterday morning was to check off all those interfaces, then re-save it...then it suddenly started working. Have you tried both snmp v3 and v2? Support's suggestion was to try SNMP v2.

But I didn’t change to SNMP v2…..I was about to but then saw it was working.

Never mind…I answered my own question…it’s the same as the standard “https monitor” isn’t it (they just renamed it to SW Orion Console – UE). I added the https one and it worked. Thank-you so much for the assistance!! Jeff

Ok thanks...main reason I ask is I had a support case for an issue with a UNDP that broke after upgrading to RC2...that supposedly is fixed in RC3. If RC3 is available I would like to upgrade.

OK, I found and did that…now I’m getting an error on every counter saying “query must return at least 1 row” or “query result is null”. Its not giving me the connection failure now, but it still doesn’t seem to be working. Do I need to change another setting also when using a named instance?

Hello, We are using SSL…and changed the port to 443…does it not use 443? Also how do we change it to monitor ssl other than changing the port and http to https?

Since applying this template to the SQL servers in our organization...it seems eery single server is triggering an alert on this particular value for the table spt_values. What is the best way to fix this...is it an issue w/ the template or is there a problem on all of these sql servers?

That worked!! Yes I was using alert suppression...what exactly does that do? This isn't the 1st time I've been told that it isn't what it appears to be (and obviously isn't....since it didn't work). 

What version are you running? Your screens look slightly different than mine. I am going to try rebuilding the alert again today but am wondering if its a version issue maybe.

Hello, Yes I did…and it seems to show it as a wireless controller on the list resources page…but I don’t see anything to enable a wireless poller there? I did notice the 1st access was significanly faster....but I attributed it to support deleting and letting the site rebuild in IIS (due to other errors we were seeing). Usually it takes upwards of 5-10 min the 1st time...this time it was up un less than 2 min.

We could do that….but our issue is we want to monitor the site as it would render from the internet…as if a customer was viewing it. The issue with monitoring it locally is the firewall could be the point of failure…and the alert would never fire, yet a customer trying to hit the site would be getting 404’s

I too am fighting this battle. I sent a walk in months ago and was told it was going to be looked into...but I just upgrated to NPM 10.3.1 and still nothing in my wireless tab . Does anyone have an update on when this might be added?

Hello, I have recently added this template to all of our SQL servers, and every one of them is throwing this warning on the spt_values table....is this a bug in the template? No one has complained of performance issues with these servers. 

There is an RC2…. I just upgraded from 1 to 2 last week to fix some issues we were having.

It adds it to your licenses on your customer portal login. NPM will have a RC download available on it.

I checekd with our CRM developer and he informed me that the SDK IS installed....would these still fail even if it is under certain circumstances?
