We recently installed the latest versions of NPM, NCM and ETS on a new Windows Server 2012 R2 VM. Since ETS is installed on this server, am I unable to install a second copy on my workstation laptop?

Hi, Tony - thanks for your tips. I finally got it working. I wasn't aware that there was a configuration you had to make to select the transfer protocol, so your question about telnet vs. ssh set me off in the right direction. Appreciate the help!! Jon

OK - found the way to set the transfer protocol to SSH - problem now is that despite making this change, NCM continues to try to use Telnet to download device configs....what did I miss?

Hi, Andrew - I did open up a ticket with support as you suggested and they were able to show me what I needed to do very quickly. Turns out I hadn't set the path for the Reports folder in my account settings. Once I did that, the became available. Thanks again for your responses - much appreciated!! jk

Hmmmm.....could be telnet that's the problem. I just ran the 'Test Job' function and it seems that it wants to use telnet to connect to the devices. We don't allow telnet here in our environment, just SSH. So where can you configure NCM to use SSH instead of telnet?
