Have you tried syncing again today? If so, can you confirm if you are still not seeing the package?
-
Correct. The slimmed down version of LM will not include all of the functionality which the licensed version provides. Differences include: - Tagging: Assigning color coded tags to important log messages and filter based on those tags. - Live Mode: A live, filterable stream of your log data to gain near-realtime visibility…

We are working on adding support for the DC 2017 catalog, however you can add the catalog manually in the meantime. You can do this via Synchronization Settings-> Other Catalogs -> Add Catalog. Link for the catalog: http://armmf.adobe.com/manifest/arm-manifests/win/SCUP/AcrobatCatalog-2017.cab Publisher: “Adobe Systems,…

Thanks - looking into the package logic now. Will report back shortly
-
Can you please confirm exactly which package you are trying to deploy? (e.g. x86, x64, etc)
-
Apologies, 8u172 was uploaded to our catalog alongside 8u171. I've just updated the table above to reflect this.
-
Just uploaded to the catalog now.
-
Hi Wayne - there was a minor change required for 8u161 relating to the ability to uninstall previous versions of Java. You should see 8u161 packages available which were amended to allow the previous version uninstall functionality.
-
Thanks Sergio. We have updated the KB to make it clearer that you do not select the 'run below to uninstall options'.
-
Sorry to hear that folks are having issues with the Java uninstallation. I'm looking into the issue and will report back shortly.

If a customer is currently leveraging the Syslog and Trap Viewers on the Orion Server and they upgrade to Log Manager, the syslog/trap viewers will be placed in a read-only mode and will no longer process syslog/traps. The processing will be done via Log Manager and logs/traps will be stored in the LM database. The legacy…

Syslog and trap functionality is not being removed from NPM. Please view my comment which should provide some clarity for you. If you have any questions or would like to discuss further please let me know.
-
Please see my comment which addresses your concern about the possible removal of a great NPM feature. Orion Maps is just the first step on a long road towards improved mapping capabilities within Orion. I'm sure jblankjblank would be happy to discuss further.

We firmly believe that syslog and traps are an essential part of any network monitoring tool and we fully intend to always include a basic level of syslog & trap functionality with NPM. We also believe that there is strong demand for more extensive log management coverage. We have some very exciting features planned for…

The Log Manager for Orion RC is now available on SolarWinds.com and also on your Customer Portal. Please feel free to post any questions/comments within the new LM Forum.

The Cylance connector parses syslog from CylanceProtect and can be configured in the same manner as the other syslog connectors in LEM. You'll first need to configure Cylance to send syslog to LEM via Settings > Application. From there you can go to Integrations > Syslog/SIEM. Use the UDP protocol, port 514 and the IP…

Hi Tony - you can submit a Technical Support ticket to request support for the Panda products. They will request some information from you, including a log sample to determine if we can build a connector for you.
-
Hi Scott - LEM does not currently have connectors available for SCCM Endpoint Protection. SCCM generates four log files relating to Endpoint Protection which you can view here. Do you need to ingest logs from a specific log file? If you can provide a log sample to me, I can determine the feasibility of supporting these…

You can actually avail of Orion Log Viewer within NPM today, which includes the Orion alert integration. Please see this blog post for all the information you need: Orion Log Viewer the New and Improved Version of the Syslog and Trap Viewers Any questions, let me know!
-
It's possible to add the message contents to the e-mail message, via the steps listed here.
-
Yes - you can add additional conditions to your alert to include both polled data and log data. Out of curiosity, what kind of alerts would you like to configure that include both polled and log data?
-
Yes, we have tested on Windows Server 2016. Can you confirm that you have configured your Log Manager IP as a syslog server in the Event Forwarder? Are you able to see traffic on UDP port 512 via WireShark?

What version of SEM are you running? Although Flash is still required for some tasks within SEM, a lot of functionality is now in the HTML5 interface, which you should be seeing by default from v6.7.
-
SEM 6.7.1 was released recently which is a Service Release to address an issue with the 6.7 SEM agent. There isn't any new features/functionality included with the release.
-
This is certainly something we are thinking about as we're building the HTML5 Node Management (the UX Team actually passed your feedback onto me). Sorry to hear you ran into the issue with bogus nodes, I can imagine it was painful having to delete those nodes one at a time. Those nodes were likely created as a result of a…

We are currently working on support for LEM deployment in Azure.
-
Hi All, apologies for the lack of communication with regards to the next LEM release. I can assure you that the contents of the What We're Working On post are accurate and we are working on the HTML5 Events Console, Debian Upgrade, increased storage limit and improved SMB support. I'll be able to share more information…
