There is a default report titled "Triggered and Reset Alerts - Last 30 days" you could run that report or edit it to better fit your timeframe if you want a different time window than last 30 days.
-
This is a error from the SMTP server not SolarWinds configuration wizard won't do anything work with your Email team to verify if there was a change in the user account or its password etc.
-
You could disable neighbor scanning and SNMP scanning globally by going to IPAM Settings > Subnet Scan Settings and unchecking those two boxes. Otherwise you will have to edit those settings on individual subnets
-
Are you talking about the standard IPAM icmp sweeps to check for availability? If so then you would have to search each IP and disable scanning on it, there isn't a way to automatically do it.
-
Hello I've seen this a few times, not always PA but it has to be adjusted on your Firewall as an exception or expanded to allow that to happen. the other choice is to swap off polling in IPAM from ICMP and just use SNMP neighbor scanning or DHCP to pull in data.

The easiest way is to look at the HA tables in the Database, specifically the HA.PoolMembers table, when a server has a problem it is listed in the StatusMessage column. If that doesn't help then yes its onto logs and I'd recommend opening a support ticket.
-
I don't but if you do I'd recommend trying to set a separate interface alert for the User ports than your other ports. For this alert I'd make sure to set the alert to only trigger in office hours and possibly for the conditions to exist for X amount of time.

Hello Rich, Thats to be expected if an IP is available SW has IPAM designed to no hold data even custom properties. Whats recommended if you have an IP that is normally going to be static but the device may not always be present to return a ping and keep status as used is to fill out the data and then set the status to…
-
You can duplicate the out of the box alerts and then edit them.
-
you need a user in the solarwinds customer portal, the swid is your organization's solarwindsID is SWrandomnumber string
-
yeah I would up the timeouts, I would also make sure to space it apart from any other reports you have scheduled, so if you have several that run at 8am have this run at 7am
-
Odd that it worked once then not again. Not sure what to say with the data I got sorry.
-
You have an export of the report so I can see more details?
-
1. It could depending on your database strength, doubling the retention range will drastically increase the amount of data in the tables therefore possibly see an performance impact when you query those tables. 2. The change will however what this impacts is when the nightly DB maitenance runs what data it rolls up so you…

No I'm suggesting you sent the Dashboard as a scheduled report. support.solarwinds.com/.../Send-an-Orion-Web-page-as-a-scheduled-report
-
What are you generating reports on? For whatever it is I'd look at the retention of that dataset as well as the report settings to make sure the interval of the data in the report isn't set lower than part of rollup the data is in. For example if you're trying to get data every 30 minutes but you're in the Hourly part of…

Coffee is still kicking in just had a workaround idea. If these queries load fine for a modern dashboard can you just set your report to run using the URL for that dashboard?
-
You could try to up them again, the article they have for this has you set those values to 3600, outside of that I'm not on 2023 to be able to see if I can repro it. I'd keep pushing in support to see if you can get to one of the good techs.…
-
I'd be curious if you put your 5 queries in a modern dashboard (each as a separate resource) do you get the same issue? If so it may indicate an issue with the backend of SWIS/SWQL queries in some odd limitations. If not its likely just something in the report engine, unfortunately long request times are hard to track down…

Heya bob not 100% sure but looks like you maybe running into a known issue that 2023.1.1 resolves. documentation.solarwinds.com/.../solarwinds_platform_2023-1-1_release_notes.htm "Issues caused by partition management during Database Maintenance were resolved."
-
This article is the best way to do it without rebuilding the entire server. https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Uninstall-all-Orion-products-from-a-server-and-prepare-for-reinstall?language=en_US The 2018.4 section should work even on enwer versions if the -uninstall fails.
-
You would have to open a support ticket to confirm but I believe this feature no longer works as of 2023.1 as I've yet to see a way to do it in Orion Maps.
-
With only those two choices there really isn't much from the report side you could do. There is the possibility of rebuilding your UnDP to do only get or get-next instead of a table (I'm assuming its a table if the returns are multiple rows). Then you'd have to build your report on that and combine each row, this would…
-
Hey Octane, I'd normally put something like this in the report lab, which is under The Orion Platform. But in either case, a copy of the report being posted or screenshots of how its setup so people can give better suggestions would be helpful.
-
If you want it to be removed from the DHCP server when you delete in IPAM you need to go to the Manage DHCP/DNS page and remove the scope there, while going through that wizard there is a checkbox to remove it from the DHCP server but you have to check it.
-
Adam is on point here, the Unlimited is meaning they license won't stop you from monitoring however the limitations of what the software/hardware combined can. However as he pointed out this is changable by adjusting the polling intervals. There are other licenses that would stop you hard at 500 or 2k elements for example…

My mistake, I missed which product this was for.

Yes you can. support.solarwinds.com/.../Email-formatting-in-alerts
-
Have you tried to use a group custom property instead?

Like JM said, new DB on the same server is fine. Make sure the hardware meets spec to run both if they are going to run at same time but the application can't run two on the same machine.
